What controls do people prefer and why? What is the best for someone to use? Tips for settings?
I tried all three and it seems like K&M turns off auto aim completely, despite it being headshot-tastic, especially for scoping. Move actually feels somewhere in the middle for me, but it turns way slow.
I know it's totally secondary to good tactics, but Dust is actually the first game I've seen implement all three (good on you CCP). |

play with what feels best. The keyboard offers the old counterstrike generation a chance to play a modern shooter how they used too. The controller offers exactly what you'd expect from any modern console shooter like black ops 2. Finally the move just lets you mix it up and have more active experience with the game. I don't expect many people to use a move controller. Iit takes a lot of effort to get properly set up no to mention space which is only for a select few. But it' you like what the wii offers your like the move controller.
Most people will use the standard controller and that fine there no advantages or disadvantages of any. (Save with a keyboard you always have a keyboard in front of you which is good for typing in chat and the grenade button is Z which means grenades are often overlooked for key board players. |

mouse and keyboard hands down all day yeah maybe im old fashioned, but you cant get the movement and reflex actions needed for a fps with a joy-pad imo
though ive been playing planetside 2 and tbh even with a m and kb it feels like your playing with a joy-pad anyway lol |

KB/M should always be used if available. Especially for sniping. In CQC it doesn't really matter. Not that CQC doesn't take skill. Just a different kind of skill.
The move with the sharpshooter is fun. I haven't used it but once with Killzone 3 at a friend's house. It was neat. |

I should try sniper + my sharpshooter, thanks for the reminder. Good feedback all round, I should probably try to settle on K&M.
Key configuration for K&M doesn't seem available, is that right? |

Correct, you cannot key configure in the current beta. |
