I was having a grand time for about 5 matches in a row late close to DT running people over in cheap suits and free LAV's. chuckle ever time I hit someone...I laughed so hard a couple times I was steering all funny. A decent slide got me 3 kills one after the other. I apologize to any I may have run over I was really just trying to improve my handling of the LAV, the acts I committed were only intended as training. It was abruptly halted one match by a very resilient squad with someone I've seen before. Something Ugly... was probably the leader as he saw me doing this several matches in a row and probably did a cheap swap out to AV grenades and ended my debauchery.
Next time It will take more than one AV grenade to fall my LAV I promise it. |

Thats why a few days before open beta im going to spec high into AV with my friend so we can destroy all MLT Tanks and Free LAV's ^^ |

If you run into me on the battlefield (pardon the pun), I invite you to play LAV chicken with me I'll bring my FG. I can usually hit you but the Dire sentinel fitting has a rubbish FG so you stand a reasonable chance of hitting me!!!!

I like driving like the dukes of hazard on the maps and anyone that gets in my way I run over, people who have seen me drive would definetly remember some of the stunts I pull: driving up onto platforms, up and down stairs, and jumping over tanks just like how the good ole boys jump over gaps in bridges and other things, YEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWW! |

Last night a LAV snuck up on me and ran me over from behind. Someone revived me as the LAV was turning around. As soon as I was up, he ran me over again. Good times.

Me and a corp mate did this by accident last night with tanks. I was in a shield tank, and had my shieds gone and most of my armor as I was desperately running - I fled around a corner and we collided. Explosion. End of match 2 seconds later as the MDD died. Good times had by all. |

I would prefer if both starter fit LAVs AND starter fit AV was removed- It's hard to get anywhere in my methana without a scrub or 2 with starter fit swarms chasing after me. Despite being starter fit, they still hurt decent LAVs pretty badly, and usually can't be outmaneuvered. |

The squishing is super satisfying. It's not something I set out to do, but whenever I find myself behind the wheel of a hacked LAV, it's suddenly all I care about.
My favorites:
-Catching some air and then landing on an enemy.
-Squishing people who mistakenly think they are safe between structures that happen to be just wide enough to squeeze a jeep through. (Nowhere to run.) |

Probably because I'm almost never one of their victims.
Turn perpindicular to the LAV, sprint, jump as you judge it's almost there, spin in mid-air, lock on with Swarms. They usually die before I touch down.
Strafe-jump in a Scout suit, turn to face the LAV as it shoots past, Shotgun to the face of the driver. Hack the LAV, hand it off to teammates.
Both of those happen to me more often than getting run over. And even if I kitten up my plan, it's hilarious enough to be totally worth it. |

need to start doing that, usually one of the AV nade users, want to see what it's like as the LAV |

Sure, but it only works for scrubby LAV drivers. STD LAV + hardeners and non-scrub behind the wheel = LOLs all around. My Methana only dies if I get stuck on a glitch (kitten happens) or a body holds me down. Otherwise I will just run to the other end of the map and wait for my troops to kill the swarmer/forge off. Rinse & repeat. I rarely die to AV, I successfully dodged non-militia HAVs on more than one occassion and I am only moderately scarred of proxies. My worst nightmare are snipers, because my head always sticks out... just give me MAVs already. :P
My record is killing 3 people at once (drove through one of the open containers on 4 point map, they were squatting inside. My longest streak with LAV is 5 kills in 2 runs over a group, two of which were headshots -- their heads touched my wheels while I flew over them. I LOLd hard.
So kids -- always look both ways before crossing the road. And don't wander in the open, otherwise the LAV will get ya... if I can beat snipers to it, that is. |
