Seriously people i guess the people who are responding that nade tossing is a valid tactic are losing something in translation from the rest of us.
For the record the reason we feel nade spam is OP is because of the instant(fuse locus) or 2s detonation on contact.
If you can cook a nade and achieve the same result then thats fine, but as it is now it has become a panic button, especially in CQC where due to its exceedingly large blast radius where it is nearly impossible to dodge.
The timer has made spamming nades EZ mode. Before if you wanted to stand on a hive and toss nades you could do so but nades wouldnt blow up for 5 seconds, now just toss and good luck getting out of the way, if you were good and could cook the nades to blow up that was one thing but now it just nothink noskill press a button. |

Sleek locus nades, they are unlocked at grenadier lvl 2.
They just really need to look at the damage modifier and radius of grenades all around with the locus ones anyway. There is no reason for them to be as damaging as they are.
If CCP wants crowd control that is what shotties and MD's are for.
The MD has more than enough explosive damage but they arent fully effective against shields like nades are, also part of the problem is the way nades slide and skip quite a bit, so ppl can quick toss and because of the short timer what ends up happening is ppl throw them at their feet they slide like a shuffleboard chip and in the 2s it ends up right at your feet.
That btw isnt due to skill anyone can do it simply look down and quick down nades it works nearly every time in CQC.
I think another issue is the ROF of nade quicktossing, i think if there was a slightly longer delay b/w nade quicktossing that would also reduce the rapid fire tosses you see, i mean i can unload 2-3 nades faster than i can fire 2 MD shots sometimes. |

They do take up more clusters as far as i remember, the most i get out of my militia is 6-8(not exactly sure ill test and reedit later). nades out of my bpo hive with no ammo reload for my MD.
