So the open beta is on and already I'm being screwed. I heard that the UVT's were going up to 1,000 aurum each. So I thought I may as well grab a bunch before it changes. I finish up my game and head to the market THE UVT'S WERE ALL STILL PRICED 10 AURUM. I grab a set of fifty and get charged 500 AURUM. Fair enough. I play a game which is laggy as hell so I restart the ps3 and when I choose my character it says:
AURUM: 16,990... It should be higher than that. I bought 50,000 AURUM. The price was 10 AURUM. Not 1,000.
Heres my math.
I have 50,000 AURUM
I buy 81 UVT'S: 810 AURUM
I buy 100 'blindfire' AR's: 3,000.
50,000 - 3,810 = 46,190. I have 16,990
But now it seems that it hasn't even saved all of the UVT'S I bought. I bought 81 at 10 AURUM each and it says I have 30.
CCP I WANT REIMBURSED FOR WHAT I ACTUALLY PAID FOR.
I'm not the only one the has happened to! Ricky Marshall is the same! He bought 10 UVT'S at 10 AURUM and was then charged 10,000 AURUM instead! |

so herd pricing were going up. so you try and cheat the system by exploiting the fact ccp has not manged to make the change in time. and your pissed they charged you the correct amount.
if this was a brick and motor shop the same thing would have happend. sorry to sound harsh but i dont think ccp owns you a thing |

exactly the same thing has happend to me !!
i would NEVER spend 1000 AUR on a UVT ! let alone buy a load of them !!
i clearly saw 10 aur on the market , thats the ONLY ! reason i bought a few ,
i went to play a few games and my aur was dissapearing right before my eyes !!!
i do not think this if fair ccp and would like my aur back !!!
i was going to buy a load more aur tonight but now im not so sure ! i definately wont be buying more untill i get this issue resolved !!

I dont see CCP mention price increases anywhere. If there is something like this going on CCP should inform us. This is not Isk where they can increase or decrease the price of everything. This is RL money. |

As a retailer, if a product is miss priced then the store needs to honor that price, it is not the consumers fault. It would be unethical for a retailer to notice that they charged too little for a product and then ring up the difference on the customers card after they had left the store.
Do the right thing CCP, honor the miss priced product and move on with the new, corrected price. |

Same here as I bought 10. I can understand an increase but to take the AUR right away instead of just resetting everything doesn't seem right....especially if it's a wipe. |

So, I haven't logged on in about 4 months (was borrowing a PS3, tomorrow I get my own!), and I'm kind of curious about this.
Are Dust Mercs allowed to sell stuff on the market now? Can you sell anything in AUR? Since I've seen this pop up twice on the first page, maybe it really is a bug. If the price said 10 AUR (or... was it 10.00 AUR?), and more was taken out, that's one thing, but you may want to go back and look at your wallet transactions.
In EVE, there's a scam where, let's say an item is normally priced at 100.00 ISK. People will sell that item on contract for 10,000 ISK hoping someone will not notice the difference between a period and a comma.
Perhaps the same thing happened to you? If that did happen, you won't be getting your AUR back, as scamming is considered within the boundaries of the game. |

There is no trading or selling AURUM items between players yet. This is a glitch in the game. I bought from the market place not from a player. If this game encourages scamming with REAL MONEY, then there will be a problem. |

We are playing a game that doesn't even have more than 2 crap game modes, none of the bells and whistles CCP had promised, bad/unfinished core FPS game play, and a slew of bugs but you continue to throw money at the game and have the audacity to complain. My first time buying AURUM actually, because this is the last reset.
I don't know why you even posted. That post helped no one and only backs up the fact that I should be reimbursed...
So actually, I guess you did help.
Hahah!! The audacity? There's nothing in the agreement that states 'because this game has bugs our customer service will be rubbish, and you're wrong to expect to be treated fairly.'

So we are being charged 1000 AUR for 30 day UVT? Including the ones we had? so i'd have about 20K missing from my AUR vault? Very nice I hope that comes with proxy chat.... |

Seriously guys. Quit complaining and start emailing CCP about it. If you have a problem, talk to them directly at [email protected] and they should get it sorted out. They have logs of all your transactions so there shouldn't be any problem in reimbursing you the difference. |

Not including the ones we had. That isn't what this post is about. Today was the first time I had AURUM. I thought I was buying 10-AURUM UVT'S but it actually charged me 1,000-AURUM but didn't tell me that it was doing so. |
