so herd pricing were going up. so you try and cheat the system by exploiting the fact ccp has not manged to make the change in time. and your pissed they charged you the correct amount.

I dont see CCP mention price increases anywhere. If there is something like this going on CCP should inform us. This is not Isk where they can increase or decrease the price of everything. This is RL money.

I havent checked mine, but i think i think i had 20 of them left. So what, they are going to charge me 20K AURUM for UVTs? Thats outrageous.

So, I haven't logged on in about 4 months (was borrowing a PS3, tomorrow I get my own!), and I'm kind of curious about this.

Are Dust Mercs allowed to sell stuff on the market now? Can you sell anything in AUR? Since I've seen this pop up twice on the first page, maybe it really is a bug. If the price said 10 AUR (or... was it 10.00 AUR?), and more was taken out, that's one thing, but you may want to go back and look at your wallet transactions.

In EVE, there's a scam where, let's say an item is normally priced at 100.00 ISK. People will sell that item on contract for 10,000 ISK hoping someone will not notice the difference between a period and a comma.

Perhaps the same thing happened to you? If that did happen, you won't be getting your AUR back, as scamming is considered within the boundaries of the game.

You people amaze me. We are playing a game that doesn't even have more than 2 crap game modes, none of the bells and whistles CCP had promised, bad/unfinished core FPS game play, and a slew of bugs but you continue to throw money at the game and have the audacity to complain. What did you expect when you threw hard earned real money at a broken game?

The change must have taken place or we would all be seeing it at 10 AUR but not all of us are hence why some see it at 10 and others at 1000

Seriously guys. Quit complaining and start emailing CCP about it. If you have a problem, talk to them directly at [email protected] and they should get it sorted out. They have logs of all your transactions so there shouldn't be any problem in reimbursing you the difference.

applogies. im ill today, and being a bit of a ****. my point was. that you seemed to have tried to pull a fast one and got caught and that was crying over it. what i didnt no was that CCP changed the price on the fly.

what i feel is that it should have been known the price was off but go screaming ccp was evil and scamy over a mistake is wrong .
however yes i agree the UVT should be taken away from everyone and ARU handed back. i dont think this is possable but its the only fair way i can see it. in my mind prices changed on the fly all the time and the internet should be treated the same. in this case though i think confusion and miscommuncation and rage got better of all parites involved

Yeah when the server came up, I bought 10 UVTs and it only charged me 10 Aur each, about an hour later one of my mates told me the price jumped to 1000 aur, so I looked and mine still said 10. Bought 30 of them, had some issues later, relogged and lost 30k Aur. Kinda sucks but oh well.

my bad i miss read your post as far more outraged than it was. i will hold my hand up as an ass for this one very used to people flying off the handle on these forums. also the point i read on false adverting is legit if it said 10 at the time of purchase and you got charge 1000.

I bought AUR during one of the first ever beta weekends right after closed beta launched. I spent maybe 10% of it, then after a minipatch, all of my AUR disappeared. I posted on the forums and was told it should be reimbursed during the next beta build. I was annoyed but figured meh, it's beta, this stuff happens.

Well, we have been through how many builds now? I STILL have not gotten my AUR reimbursed during any beta build. I have posted a couple threads in the support forum, got no response. I sent 2-3 emails to support, and never got more than an automated response that it will be reimbursed next build.

I double checked, and my credit card was successfully charged for the AUR when I purchased it. At this point, I guarandamntee when the game goes retail, I won't be refunded the AUR like I was supposed to. Oh well, the way this game has been going, I'll probably die of old age before it actually releases anyway.

I probably should. It wasn't much, but it's the principle. If they have major issues with the part of the game that involves real money, this game is gonna have huge problems. People will tolerate a lot of things, but not when it involves real cash.

somehow i feel everyone doesnt understand that we M-O-V-E-D to a different server and NOT become open beta, im new to the eve universe and yet i still know that we're not open beta

The concept of beta's is a wee bit....shall we say 'broken' in the minds of console players.
Thanks to years of devs and publishers butchering the concept, to console players, a beta is this:
Beta = Demo
Open Beta = Free demo you get in the weekly store updates
Closed Beta = The same demo, but only available through competitions on IGN

AUR is not the problem. if the want to charge it a 1000 bucks, i guess that's their choice. After all the game is free. But a definitive answer would be very helpful. Now all it says is reboot and it would be fixed. I would like to know what has been fixed. Its either 10 AUR or 1000 AUR. I dont want to get a bunch of UVTs for 1000 AUR and find out that it's been changed to 10 AUR. Either way i'd like a definitive answer... Communication among CORP members is a big issue as it is. On top it all these confusion!

Would really love that. Free UVTs... Comms are essential, but they need to make money too...Lets see what happens...
