Has anyone else noticed an issue with how things are named.
For example.
The Assault rifle is called Assault Rifle. Even though this is the Caldari varient. What happens when we get Gallente, MinMatar and Amarr versions? There needs to be a names for each variant such as Blaster rifle, Scrambler Rifle, or Autogun.
Just like how we got multiple assault rifles like the AK-47, M16, SCAR, FAMAS. Theyr all assault rifles but they are called different things.
This can be carried over into all the other weapons and weapon classes in this game. I hope when the full game is ready this issue will be resolved. |

I think there will be weapons that are unique to the race. For example the laser rifle, possibly the mass driver is unique as well But im sure there will be a racial varient of all the main weapon types.
i.e Heavy Anti-Inffantry, Heavy AV, Assault Rifle, Sidearm, Sniper Rifle, SMG, Shotguns, etc |

There wont be a caldari smg by the exact name but there may be a caldari short range weapon answer to a very light weight cqc weapon, there wont be a minmatar plasma shotgun (though do expect a traditional shotgun form them with probably better range) or an amarrian forge gun.
Major reasons behind this is technlogy philosphies co working together.
If all Amarrian weapons are laser based it quickly allows for use of technologies that effects all laser based weapons for example. IE Laser Weapon Upgrades
I do hope it will be like this. and in yur inventory and market it needs to all be under the label ASSAULT RIFLES |
