I don't think this would have been done intentionally. The proto breach seems like such an obscure weapon to nerf. |

i believe they removed it cuz they nerfed the rails dmg as well currently a standard Breach FG does more base dmg than a proto railgun...... |

no. Tanks need a little buffing, but as they are now they're horrendously effective when used correctly. There is no point in AV if the AV can't kill the tanks. |

I know of no reason for it's removal. CCP please either restore the weapon or explain it's absence, if there is an issue with the prior iteration surly there's a way to touch it up so that it could be reintroduced?

+1 I agree
Breach forge gun is one of many favorite guns out there. To remove it is plain silly. Its a difficult weapon to use as it is and it has very little splash damage..... so its ok to have tanks tb at ha e 12k ehp and higher but not have a weapon that can rock paper scissor it. Not asking to one shot the proto tanks by any means but if I advance in av I should have the weapons to deal with them

A handheld weapon such as the forge gun which uses the same mechanics as a railgun, how can it do more damage than a vehicle mounted railgun which requires 10x the amount of PG and needs a vehicle to be useful

Ha I can 3-4 shot most proto tanks with the dua breech forge on the proto suit with 3 complex damage mods the proto would one shot most sub proto builds if you get the sweet spot ob the back of the tank. I miss the proto breech . Breech forge guns require a more cunning operative and removing the proto was honestly a bad idea. |

for his tank kill he is lucky to get 200k isk as reward for that, and can really not do much else in combat unlike the assault forge gun, or officer forge gun.
As you can see everything stacks in the tanks favor.
It requires a large amount of skill to be successful with a breach forge vs a tank. |

Proto breech forge guns did more damage then a mounted railgun, that is why it was taken out. A handheld weapon shouldn't be doing more damage then a mounted weapon |

I'll welcome the Breach Forge Gun back into the game, but there's no way it should be killing marauder tanks in 1-2 hits. HELL NO.
Tanks need a resistance / HP buff before we can even think about putting that thing back in the game.

Majority of breach users are hiding somewhere high on a hill out of site where only a sniper may get them, they may have a long charge time but it deals more damage than a vehicle mounted railgun and has a range as far as one it seems maybe a little bit less
It will only come out when needed and can change out of it when needed
Until the dropsuit manages to gain an extra 1000pg to fit it then it shouldnt be in

The range on the breech forge guns is allot less than the rail gun on a tank . I think my forges have a range between 300 and 409 m with sharp shooter level 2 . Yes the breech dose unspeakable dammage but you neex 6 seconds to charge it up and you cant move when it is charging . |
