Seriously WTF, no matter where you are at least 2 snipers are watching you. And they can insta kill you out of nowhere in an unreachable place. I'm constantly hearing the bullets from the snipers whistle near me, I seriously heared 5 bullets travel one by one near me in a time period of one and a half seconds.
They don't even have to risk their dropsuit because they're 99.99% safe. |

Learn anti sniper movements. Don't run in a strait line, backtrack, zig zag, jump( although this one is least effective). As a sniper I can tell you that running in a strait line makes you an easy target. |

As a sniper I can tell you that running in a strait line makes you an easy target. You think I don't know that? I have done pretty much everything you can imagine to avoid sniping. But as soon as I get out of cover, BANG, dead. None of the anti-sniper movement works if you have a decent sniper, heck I pick it up once in a while and do pretty good against those anti-sniper movements, and I'm not a good sniper.

And die. I'm a FPS player from the start, my first non flash game was Counter Strike. I played any popular to not so popular FPS. In the years I played I picked up a lot of skills that are useful in almost all FPS, how to avoid sniping is one of them. But its just impossible here, unless you have cover every 30 centimeters (which you don't if you move from point to point).
Edit: In addition, even if you are in cover, there is almost always another sniper just lining up a shot while you're licking your wounds behind cover. |

Not that I don't agree with u bout snipers, they are a part of the game and here to stay. I think we all get sniped once in awhile. Maybe sniper deaths are just more annoying. Because you don't really get the chance to defend urself they stand out more than a death from a weapon of another class (or vehicle). Tbh...ill take a sniper bullet to the temple any day over getting run over by a throw away LAV. |

If you've got two+ snipers on your head those tactics are worthless, you will die. Especially if they're on KBM. KBM makes red-line-sniping a super easy mode for mentally challenged kiddies. Some offence intended.
The funniest thing is that some people think that going 40/0 is something to be proud of, even if in the end they've lost the match (as tanks and snipers never take points). |

One problem players make is that when they are behind cover they assume they are safe. Your problem right now is using cover positions without checking the surroundings(The first mistake I realized you made when you started this thread.)
Also, have you ever thought of countering the snipers by acting as bait to give your teammates enough time take them out? Or are you too focused on avoiding them and allowing them to be bold? |

I have no problem with killing a camper in the red zone. You are just not aiming right. |

^ Agreed you have to run to cover but always be aware of where you are visible from, if your team has a line of defense check your flanks, check behind you (most likely they won't be there but there is always a chance they might) and check for any one else dying and see where they were standing. I don't play sniper as much as I used to but they aren't unbeatable.
You just have to outflank them and shoot them back. More often than not they'll be scoped in or looking at only a small radius infront of them and won't pay their flanks any attention. Not only that but if you get in range of them even head on if you tart putting bullets in them it makes the scope jump something fierce meaning that in most likely hood their shot will miss if they try open fire on you as you run towards them gunning them down. As a sniper and being on the end of being sniped I can assure you of these things. Though I will admit tacticals are a ***** and you most likely will die if they hit you since the time until second shot is less than half a second. |

Snipers are snipers and they can't not be in this game. The problem arises from the bowl shape of these maps and their general openess. To be fair, while they are an annoyance, it's not hard to see that most of the snipers aren't much of a benefit to their teams. |

Everymap is a fish bowl so right now it's a camper (sniper) paradies. You can tell what side is going to win the game based upon the number of snipers. If your team has more snipers than the other chances are you're going to lose the match. |

i suck with SR ... i know ... but I have no problem with snipers on rooftops or structures only those at the top of the hill
a sniper in the red zone has no other enemies only other snipers or a precision strike? is quite ridiculous imo |

I try this tactic all the time and surprising survive most of the time. But if I'm pinned at one spot and the next cover is too far away. I call in a LAV to drive safely away. I'm not offended, only surprised by your post because snipers only fires straight but you are telling me that once a sniper opens fire you will die without a chance. |

Once these maps open up snipers will be less of a problem. No red line at their back and more area to cover/less density of enemy players means snipers will be forced to assume a role as a spotter or defender of an objective rather then just a way to pad kdr. Plus if the maps open up those snipers will have a LONG way to travel to get themselves into a prime spot. |

The problem with manus peak is that snipers hiding in their own redline or just outside it can see pretty much the whole map without risking anything.
I don't care about snipers sitting way back if they have limited view of the battlefield, but right now they can pretty much defend all the objectives.
It's the same with railgun tanks. Again, I don't care about a tank sitting near his redline sniping as long as he can't see half the map. He can do that now, and even if you get into a position to shoot him with a forge gun, he'll just back up into the redline. |

There is no such thing as checking if the surroundings are clear when the enemy hides behind cliffs kilometers away with only the top of their head visible. Your argument is invalid.
And my teammates can't take them out, they're in a safe spot with only snipers being able to get them, but they became very comfy where they are so if a sniper tries to take position the enemy snipers will just obliderate him.

My hope is that they go through with the map randomization, which should help with the sniper problem. The issue is not that snipers are unavoidable, it's that as things are now, they make the game boring for anybody who isn't a sniper. Yes, it's possible to dodge the ePeen fire, the question is whether you really want to invest time in a game that's about dodging ePeen fire as opposed to taking and holding objectives and winning the match. |
