You have officially taken all drive to play dust out. I have been here since replication, I have put up with hard freezes, cross coms, the invalid bug, extreme lag, and dozen of other glitches. But now between weapon damage flating, suit hp nerfs, and basic repetitiveness I have no urge to get on for any reason. So congratulations yal have used a brick to break this camel's back. |

He is right and this thread is not QQ.
Dust use to be fun to play!
I bet most of you scrubs don't even know that we could only get on the weekends to test and play.
Replication was the best and most enjoyable build by far.
With each and every new build the challenging and fun gameplay has turned into frustration, boring and dumbed down gameplay.

Well if your time to play was restricted then the anticipation build would have made it much more enjoyable. If you have been playing it for a long while, bearing in mind the amount of game content, then you could be getting bored of it. I don't know how it was dumbed down, it sounded to me like the features and content grew more complex with each build. |

Zitro, I'm sorry but all you're doing is supporting the tears. It's not like we all don't agree with things getting dull since it's not a real change from the previous build - but these threads are just QQ, things are to come that'll change things again completely. We're testers - patience is what we do. If you want a complete game to fulfill your FPS needs try somethin' else for now. It's not like your stats or leader-board position or SP are going to stick around anyways once we move servers to tranq. |

Zitro, replication was one of the worst builds I have seen. The only enjoyable thing about it was the two-part skirmish match. That was it. That was PRACTICALLY it in terms of anything positive about replication. |

Replication was the best build, because that was when DUST was almost identical to MAG, and actually took skill to play. |

Replication was swarm spam and HMG spawn camp sauce. The only fun thing about Rep. was the map and type of game mode (rush style) and small turrets. The RE's were broken then also, just not used as much, throw them down and blow them up. Another sniper feast but that seems to go with the territory of every FPS. The infinite tank glitch got annoying too.
Things are boring because dropships are gone, tanks are pretty easy (thanks QQers) and the same maps and game types. The game is way more stable, balancing has been effective although heavy handed in many ways. The hit detection and draw distances are all tons better. Less bugs and glitches to be exploited and sounds and graphics have improved leaps and bounds.
This just sounds like nostalgia and not remembering the headaches endured during those times, like playing only a few matches a day cause you couldn't load in the game. The invalids, hard freezes or starting the PS3 after every 3 games so you don't hard freeze, risking your rig on every freeze playing Russian Roulette.
These are better times, it's that the game had good vehicle combat (a lil OP in some areas) but now this game is all FPS, run around shoot things and hack things, rinse and repeat. But there are games that do this better so why play Dust? I liked the depth this had, be a tanker, a pilot, a gunner or drive LAVs, while avoiding ground troops AV. Now all I do is run around like everybody else. |

Never thought I would like an imperfect post but.... they have a valid point... I was here from the first build delt with the lag, invalid fit, hard freeze, etc etc even then the game was funner.. ccp has catered to everyone to the point to where the game isnt even fun to play more... The first build i was on everyday and now in this build i have probably played 3 to 5 hours... i have said it once and i will say it again ccp is making dust a sinking ship |

I feel the game is as complex as it was.... I was literally asking my good buddy Carlos how to do this.. how to do that in the first biuld... I have had the game down since then.. and i have now put the game down to only playin a few rounds to get frustrated and turn it back off |

^^ personal the must fun have had a in few weeks was going off comms, i personal think if there was a pve mode put in soon it would help a lot of people out, who get sick of blueberrys and just want a few easy rounds of something to get their cash back. my key issue with dust at the moment like most pvp games is, that no matter how good you are if your team sucks your out, and in dust that can mean losing a lot of isk,
secondly once a team starts losing everyone puts away their expensive fits and the winning team pulls out their awesome stuff . compounding the problem |

Oh man that definitely sucks but sometimes I find, assuming you have at least a bud or two to back you up, pulling out some big guns will catch your opposition off guard and allow you to score enough kills to break their flow for a bit letting the Blueberries catch a breather. Pretty risky though, you're absolutely correct about stowing away the gear and sticking to militia kit at those times. |

playercount still low vehicle combat got nerfed old skirmish was alot better, hoping it comes back soon, i like the new skirmish but would like the choice to play between the 2. worst of all the general playerbas skill lvl is appallingly low which makes for boring redline fests back in the old builds particularly the 1st 2 or so when keys werent so abundant u had alot of competition which was fun
corp battles should be at least 12v12 tbh or at least provide us with the ability to set match sizes via contract options.
This build is more stable which is good but still waiting for the game to really show us the full FW stuff etc |

It's because the skill gap is getting wider and wider, so it makes it harder and harder for newbies to do much, very few new testers have decent enough skill to rally an entire team, believe i try really hard and sometimes its just like running through molasses. Remove the skill cap on new players until they reach cumulative weekly cap level and it will be less of a one-sided pubstomp. Less not gone though.
Edit- But with regards to OP, im beginning to get bored with the game too, mainly because it is of course repetitive and ive only been playing for roughly 2 weeks, I only have 1.6M SP and already find myself being able to compete against most players and occasionally can take down a proto or two.
But there are two reasons i keep going, first is that this is a beta and CCP needs the data, without it good analysis is hard to do. The other is that there is more content to come and im looking forward to that and i enjoy the knowledge that i still have a lot more SP to earn down the road.
My advice best thing to do is take the break, absence makes the heart grow fonder. You need time away from a game in order to come back and begin enjoying it again and enjoying it for what it is and forgiving it for what it isn't ,......YET. |

tbh the key problem here is, people should turn off their ps3 beucase its 2 in the morning and they have work.
not because they just embedded their controller in the dry wall. The frustrations in this game i don't encounter anywhere else. and the fact ccp keeps trying to fix things that were fine. like why mess with the controller sensitivity 90% of the playerbase wont even be able to find that option let alone care about it or iron sites, that should have been an option. recoil is what you use to make a gun more inaccurate, not make it blinding difficult to aim with |
