From what I can tell, you don't wear your armor at all in the MQ. |

because who really cares? especially right now when there's just more important stuff that needs working on.
also, the clone is fused to the suite, or something. science fiction handwave excuse! there you go... |

Because full character customisation like we have in Eve is a major development task, while we still have so much more actual gameplay related stuff to add.
It will come in time ... as will walking in stations and meeting each other in bars or casinos along with Eve pilots, but not for a good while yet.
We could have a generic "out of suit" model, but what would be the difference really !
Your idea will come in time and it will surpass your expectations ... but it may need next gen consoles processing abilities to enable fully what is planned. |

slap26 wrote:I thought our clones are just brains in robotic bodies... No, we're clones. If we were in robotic bodies, then it we should be able to have bodies like this: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Nn8ThFVx-1E/UNpz1SuKVhI/AAAAAAAAAcM/chIi-cPGRxk/s1600/dust+514+rogue+drone+2.png Also, if you were a robot, why use a brain when you can use a functionally identical digital brain? Why would there be male and female models if we were just playing as machines?
I really wish we could play as one of these badass hovering/flying machines. If we could remote control our mechanical bodies like that, we could also control our vehicles like that. |

Not to start any thing here but the thing is i'm a very ammeture Dev and it really wouldn't be that hard to make. (Assuming CCP uses bones to animate their characters). Just take the full character and delete the mesh (what you can see). Then take the fully animated skeleton and copy it. After that get a default EVE character mesh then drag and drop it into the Skeleton file (preferably a low poly one) Finally all you need to do is some relatively simple vertex weight painting to attach the EVE mesh to the skeleton, ready for action.
Just to restate this is not a In your face reply and i apologize to CCP For the rather demanding and unappreciative wording of my previous request. |

Far more important issues to address than some space barbie feature.
I don't mind having the ability to dress up my clone in the MQ, but I (like others here) feel that this game must first resolve gameplay issues before moving on to less important stuff. |

You're wasting your time. Those Jehovas witnesses will never be able to open The Door. Not even you or god himself. That door is OP. |

To be honest I don't even see the point in having the merc quarters at all since the war room basically can do the same thing. |

Well, from parts of the Templar One novel I am assuming that unlike capsuleer clones which are grown from their own bodies, we are inhabiting "ready made" clones with hardened bones and joints, maybe flourocarbons instead of blood, etc etc. |

It is a bit awkward. I really want my favourite fitting to be my fatsuit, but it has to be a scout for the sake of MQ & warbarge mobility. |
