Just to clarify, you aren't using a booster, and need to know how much someone WITH a booster gets, right? |

This tbh is more about SP cap for active boosters than weekly cap. |

Rolling universal SP cap is the best solution. Around 3 or 4x passive. Active boosters can give additional SP, over and above the cap.
There. 3 sentences. S P troubles fixed.
Can we get behind this simple plan? Or does someone see a problem with this idea? |

I love how there are always posts with nothing useful to add, when someone presents the most obvious and "fair" way to solve something most of the community is discontent with. |

Khal V'Rani wrote:Honest question here, what do you mean by a rolling cap? I'd like to understand all the ideas put out there before I open my yap.
It means the cap rises every few seconds. If it was set around 3-4x the passive gain, you could get around 1000 SP a game. Basically, it means if you don't play for 30 minutes, there'll be 30 mins worth of SP to gain. New players could join, and they'll have 6 months grinding to do. But if they play lots, they can catch the people who are constantly at the cap (which increases every second).
Think of a rolling cap as a pool of experience, that will constantly grow, but has the same amount available for every player. |

Also, it's real time. So it's rising every minute. That's why you'd be able to earn around 1000 SP per game. (important from a psychological point). |
