Tbh, they should allow, at maximum, one reset for skill points post commercial release. Because I can see it now....new players with no mentoring just putting skill points all over the place because they didn't get to "test it out" like we are.
And then 2 months later, they figure out they've bombed on everything and would like to create another character to start over but they don't want to delete their main after all of the time they put in it. |

I agree with having an option to reset your SP. However, it should only be accessible by buying it with AUR from the marketplace and you would be able to purchase it as many times as you want. It should cost roughly ten dollars so it would not be abused. It would also help CCP out as well without it becoming a blatant pay to win mechanic.
Having an option to reset it by purchase is an even better idea. Whether it is AUR or ISK...because I know guys are going to botch their skill points up. I believe most people will bomb their skill point allocation because there is no tutorial to help them. And there really can't be because everyone's dropsuit and skill point progression caters to their individual playstyle. |

I don't know... you make a mistake you need to live with it. There are consequenses for your actions. If they had an "Allocate SP" option to buy on the market it should only be useable once a year or something. And cost both Aurum and ISK. But if they don't allow it in Eve they shouldn't allow it in Dust. It's the same universe after all.
It doesn't even have to be a once a year thing, it could be once a character thing. And it shouldn't be like EVE, especially when we have active skills and eve doesn't. Plus, Dust is a different game, what works in Eve may not work in dust. |
