I think that if you could reallocate the amount of SP you earn passively. So to re allocate shotgun lvl 2 would take 2-3 days, reallocating grenades lvl 5 would take a month or 2. This would also increase the worth of passive SP boosters.

I myself wasted alot off skills into vehicles like dropships and LAV's just to see it then the other day that my investment is now totally useless cause the missile turrets that i have specced into are just simply crap now. If they would make it so that AR's would do only 10HP damage per shot then you would like to be aible to gain your wasted SP back and put it into something more usefull.

It was the same when Forge guns were given a 50m range and Swarms couldn't touch dropships and still can't be launched without a 50/50 chance of slamming into the hill behind you. I still test Swarms because that's what I prefer, doesn't make me want to reassign points cos they nerf it, it makes me want to test it and show it to be nerfed too much.

That gives this game a lifespan of what, 6 weeks. If you spend SP in something you don't currently want.. It's not a waste, it just unlocks future possibilities. Of course, every time you put SP into corp management the game should give you 5 popups saying 'Are you sure?'... Because that is a waste unless you know what you are doing.

I can allready see a problem in the future when we move again the server and everything gets reset (sp wise). So will corp management will receive a reset aswell while the corp itself still exist?

Otherwise a 20 mil sp character could spec fully into infantry and make a reasonable amount of money doing so and then instantly be fully specced into tanks and start driving maxed out tanks around without having to really work at it at all. There would have to be a cooldown time on purchases so you couldn't just buy the respec over and over again to have the same effect, and for 1 mil sp I would put the cooldown at around a month.

I'm not a CEO, but I am in favour of Corp Management skills being excluded from the wipe, or at least being reimbursed ... I have no objections to corp structures persisting through a wipe. However maybe to not allow for exploitation, only the minimum skill level for the size of corp could be rolled over ... if that's not too tricky to implement.

Even though DUST and Eve are two different games, they both share the same mindset that all choices made must have permanent consequences regardless if our choices were based on informed or uninformed decisions.

The unique thing about DUST/EVE is you are at no disadvantage to randomly decide to train something else. If you are okay with training up for X, why would it be weird to expect to have to train up for Y separately? There is no hard cap so no need for skill reassignment.
