Hes right doesnt take 7 days to achieve the current 500k sp cap. With or without it.I have an alt and its still can be done without the boosters. The current system with the skill booster and using a 7 day booster, weekly makes no sense at all.It after all does not take 7 days of constant game play without the booster to achieve this. With the booster on, to achieve this(the current cap) it takes 1 maybe 2 days to max out.Making the other 5 days of the skill booster useless.Solution buy a 3 day.Ok still getting it done on a friday night.2 days wasted off the 3 day booster.Mow on the other hand I want to play as much as possible but why should I?After all Ive already maxd out so Im just spending AUR (weapons and items) to do what?Make ISK?Get some kills?Loose ISK?Not loose ISK(use MLT BPO's).Therefore get my ass kicked and decrease my KDR.Problem? yes problem.I dont need to play your game right now so Im not playing your game at all.Does that make sense?Im gonnna take a stretch here and say that game developers want people to play there game and play it as much as they want.
With the argument of pay2 win all I have to do is laugh. If when any FPS game that has been produced in the last decade you dont want to buy expansions(DLC) you dont have too.But you wont be playing those maps or that part of the game (weapons/maps)at all.So this pay2 win nonsense is ...ridiculous. Its not like CCP is doing or would be doing anything that any other FPS game developer has been doing for years, as far as what you refer to as pay2 win aspect of the game.
Whats that all mean?30 day skill booster is really only needed for 4 days - 96/hrs worth of game play.I also find it interesting that the EVE players are the ones that are the most opposed to anything in this game whether items or SP gain(in this case) which may or maynot have the potential for the pS3 player to have some say in it(the beta/finished product).I also find it funny that these same EVE individuals dont realize that "they" are going to have to try and play 2 games but wont have the time to do both. With organizing your corp, training, maintaining your website of your corp, playing EVE,kids ,laundry, job, taking a shower...lol. See what Im getting at?So why are you opposed to the idea of passive sp gain when thats what your gonna need to try and do both at once and how its done in EVE. EVE players pay subs I dont get why EVE players are always the first to scream pay 2 win....When they know damn well that they are going to do transfers at the first available opportunity that they can.To there DUST corps(they already have)and there is nothing wrong with that.Per se.You play EVE,you make ISK,you move it over here. You pay a sub.P2W.......Problem with that scenerio is once you achieve the SP ability for your DUST merc to wear proto (they always will be.The transferring EVE player) so this what will "the poor New people do"? "theyll get there butts kicked, and quit" argument gets thrown out the window.
Long story short. We both need SP. The marathon player, the weekend warrior, the EVE player with alts ,and definitely the new guy....the only person that wont is the non dedicated player...so why should we be concerned with that individual.CCP is just being TOTALLY COOL and giving us a more bang for our buck.

say what? troll? mis-informed? proof? this amazes and intrigues me
Ps:In one post you say your are basically not going to say anything out of worry of getting "trolled" a couple post later you call a guy a troll, and troll him.Way to have an adult discussion about the game and its mechanics.
