Two Blue dots crushed me and stole my Tank while i was waiting for it and Putting a capture order on one of the targets. I dont need CCP to deal with that, but there should be some sort of penalties for it as those brilliant blue dots couldnt even operate the tank and died soon after by acting like dear John Rambo... I have your names listed down, we will go after you and any corp that you join or create. So good luck in the future. |

Who exactly do you think deserves "penalties" and what kind?
1. You, for getting yourself killed? You already got penalised. You died, and had your tank stolen. 2. The enemies? Why? For successfully killing you and stealing your tank? What did they do to deserve these penalties? Or did you mean their subsequent death? For which they were penalised by dying already...
I'm not seeing any problems here, except that, if they were awesome with your tank after stealing it, they wouldn't get to keep it. But the fix for that is a REWARD, not a PENALTY. |

I dont think you read the begining properly. I mentioned "Blue dots"... Not that stupid to let enemies steal a tank and i dont need to be outside of the tank to Frago an objective... Please read first before you write smart comments. |

Cool story.
Also, how'd a blue dot crush you? There's no friendly fire... |

Again! Didnt i mention that "I was waiting for it" ? Please read the whole thing first before you start acting like you know it all.
No friendly fire? Didnt i also mention "Crushed"? Well its kinda funny cause they killed me with an LAV at the base spawn point at the very begining of the game (Without Jumping out of the LAV). Not complaining about loosing a tank. I was just wondering if there's going to be any kinda penalty implemented in the game for this kinda behaviour. Most games have it. If this is how this game is supposed to be played, then I dont have any problems acting accordingly. |

No friendly fire means you don't get crushed by a friendly vehicle driving into you, only if it gets dropped on you somehow. So again, how did they achieve that?
2. I'd rather see the game REWARD YOU for giving the tank to a teammate than see it punish them for taking what was left.
3. Do you have any indication that they ran you over deliberately with full knowledge that you'd called in a tank? Because I seriously doubt they had, and the nearby teammates NOT using the tank would probably have turned out worse (enemies hack it, then use it against you).
4. Either you took WAY too long marking the objective, or you were kind of stupid to have been trying to mark it while you had a tank on the way. Also, if you got crushed, you almost HAD to be in a terrible position to be doing whatever you were doing that had you unaware enough not to see a friendly jeep on the minimap.
P.S. sorry about the reading comprehension. It's almost 7am, and I'm not used to being up this late. I've usually been in bed before sunrise lately. |

No problem Bro...
1. They crushed me with the vehicle, While they were on it. droped a grenade too... I know blue dots can be killed if you jump out of a fast moving vehicle on time and let the vehicle crush the Blue dot.
2. I would like the reward system since i have quite a lot of tanks. Beside it would increase the "Teamplay" sense of the game.
3. It was at the back, at our base spawn point. They were driving around for a bit. When they saw the tank coming they did what they did. When i asked them about it, they were simply being pricks. I dont mind it, cause they'll be marked till they change their name or leave the game. Would be happy to see them as Red Dots. lol
4. It takes me about 3-5 seconds to grago something (Been practising it LOL) I should be safe behind the buildings in our base spawn point right?
My point is, it was intentional.

Welcome to new Eden. My first week playing eve someone tricked me into them getting kill rights on me in high sec an proceeded to destroy my starter ship. Dust is going to be the same sandbox style game where the primary rule is there aren't really any rules so watch your back and trust only yourself. You were killed OK. Adapt or die this doesn't deserve any change to game mechanics but rather a change to your game play and tactics.

I know all about Blue Dot vs Green Dots and so on, got used to it (MAG)... Just didnt expect it here, since Friendly fire isnt "ON" yet... I wasnt asking them to change game mechanincs, i was just wondering if there is going to be any sort of penalties for killing Blue Dots. If not, then i'd be very happy to make some anti-BD loadouts |

By the way, thank you for the info regarding how players can crush their own team mates. Will be sure to exploit that in no time. |

Do not be so naive. It's extremely easy to kill allies through friendly fire. We might not be able to do direct damage but there are some weapons that can harm things using its splash. Ramming someone into a wall will eventually crush them (including if you "ram" into them with your suit) and if you know how to do it, you can drive your vehicle and crush as many blue dots as you want.

And I've since found that, while driving straight into someone doesn't work, crushing them against something, dropping your LAV on the other player, or jumping out before it hits, can all work to kill people. At the time, I hadn't seen them done, or experimented much for myself, and only knew about crushing by dropping the LAV on someone (either by getting air on the right angle or by having the LAV land on them because they weren't watching your RDV (seeing that was hilarious, btw). |

I am still experimenting with my tank loadouts. Tbh it still sucks lol... But it is kind of annoying when im facing 3 swarm launchers, 1 forge gunner and a Rail gun tank in a narrow passage and i cant back out because of the noob tanker sitting behind me trying to shoot Red dots, but hitting me instead. He would not move his HAV to give me some room to heal, so i did what i had to lol |

Yes you can kill team mates, the same way you do on battlefield 3 hop into a different seat of the vehicle as you head towards a team mate. Its cheap and should be punished.
