Vehicles are the biggest mofos on the battlefield....why is it that we can never see them on our radar?? It is annoying when you hear them and hear missiles going off but you don't know where they are exactly and they can be right around a corner.
If the higher the shield hp, the easier it is to detect signature....then how come they never come up on the radar? You have dropships and tanks with 8000hp worth of shields that are invisible. Yet, an infantry with 137hp pops up easily on my radar.
Please....this needs to be changed. |

Please....this needs to be changed. Did you skill-up scanning skills?
So far, I have level 3 profile analysis...and some suits, I've added modules as well. I should be able to pick up a massively shielded tank when it in close proximity to me. I can hear them really clear when I'm close but I can't detect their actual position and where they're moving. |

If I have to look at the vehicle, then what is the point of scan precision....unless scan precision only works for infantry.
But then that's just silly and not practical. Someone pointed out that the bigger the shields, the more likely you are detected. And it doesn't make sense for an object with 5000+ shields is able to be so stealth without any stealth modules, at least.
I can hear a tank sometimes but I can't tell in which direction it is moving. So, if it is moving south of the cover then i'd like to move north if I have nothing to defend myself with.
Again, this isn't a nerf call....it's just what makes sense and what's consistent. A big ass 7000hp shielded tank firing missiles (missiles with no stealth system at that) should be easily detected on radar. |

Yes, we understand that the current radar system works by line of site. But it needs to work by sight AND sound. It's pretty ridiculous that a tank can sneak up on you from around the corner.
