i could have sworn i saw somewhere that a dev said a new swarm launcher variant that was very different from the current is being worked on so i would guess that this is what they were mentioning.

HOW does it automatically look like an AV weapon just because it's shoulder-fired?!
Honestly, I don't see a reason why this couldn't be some kind of heavy shotgun, or some other anti-infantry focused weapon. I mean, we have perfectly good AV weapons already (with the exception of Swarms, which are being fixed). I'm hoping this one is made for killing people.
