Im interested to know if CCP will acknowledge the current dissatisfaction among the player-base about not only the current state of the game, but also the direction the game seems being going.
in my view, when i first started, we had and an attack defend style game play which was very enjoyable, the only really game breaking things were more heavy bugs such as the hard-locks and swarms going crazy damage to inf. since then, one of playerbases more favourite game modes was outright removed rather than improved on. the game rather than hard-locking has just become more laggy and unstable (and still hardlocks) which in my view is even worse as now every game is poor experience rather than getting at least 3 good matches and then having to do something; matches are now "red-lined" as the norm which is not fun for anybody, basic gun fights are exercise in frustration in fighting frame rate lag, actual lag, and hit detection lag my skill in gamefights rate very litter after the first 3 have been dealt with.
CCP attempts to the balance the game has been in my view handled badly, rather than doing some small adjustment they have outright hammer the problem into the ground, which is not balancing a problem its outright removing it and just leads to more player anger and ends up cascading thought out the rest of game as something else will just take its place and leads to slow case of everything been toned down adjusting how the whole game feels.
their seems to be very little communication on what CCP is trying to test, which just leads me to believe they are hacking away at the problem rather than focusing on small areas to get right (such lets just get HD working) but this also leads to confusion among the player-base as to weather the game is working as intended or something is off.
overall my experiences of beta so far as been MAN THIS IS AWESOME.... to... i need a new controller as i just threw it out window. to put more bluntly i feel the game has gone downhill in all aspects and simply will not be good enough to retrain a functional player-base outside its core unit.
and yes i know this is work in progress beta, but CCP lost the right to hind behind that the moment you could pay to get into it, right now the game is been judged and word of mouth is spreading i can go to a number of sites and see a list of posts of people saying don't wast your time. This type of thing has killed more than one game before it even hit release and it would be shame.
lastly if your going to hold a tournament that people had to arrange there real lives around, it would at least be nice if you handed the prizes out in a timely manner, because right now we are not enjoying the isk you so proudly touted in your email because as far to my knowledge we have not had it yet.
so i wish to know that CCP is capable of understanding their player base is annoyed at the current state of affairs and the direction of the game and that they are working towards improving it. because if they cant admit there are deep problems then i feel the studio simply lacks the experience to make a competitive shooter in the modern market.
... and yes this is rant but 1.3 months of build getting more unstable, and 90% of my death being though fame rate freezes, lag and death tanks has really killed it for me.

iv been gaming since i was 3 years old thanks to dad being an uber geek, so iv beta for all sorts of games, so my post was made that experience my worry is that the market was not the same it was all those years ago, sadly you cant run betas like this any more because your game will get a bad rep. its a fair thing to happen, but it is what it is, I have no problem the game is rusty and broken if the devs went. yep not working as intended, or we are just trying to sort this out.
they don't have to do this, but if they want create a good community base this is firs step. Im just going to use the missile nerf as an example. Yes it needed to change everyone is in agreement, everyone now also agrees they are a waste of time to the point i dont even bother looking for cover if a see a missile tank. adjusting three things in one go, is too heavy handed, reducing the range on missiles alone probably would have done the trick. Swarms as a second, having it damage yourself was all the community was asking for, instead they are still next to useless.
I think the best beta i was in (until EA took over) was warhammer online, their was clear back and forth going on all the time i mean paul barent even freaking sent me emails on how to break into industry, you could often clearly find devs ingame or know they were running about, or their was at least a GM at anytime someone could speak to. the community knew what was going on and what was being tested and why.
maybe one thing to do, is to create a GM beta channel ingame that people can join, and just have a GM talking away, or choose a few players to act as relays a bit like a rookie channel in EvE, im almost positive far better feedback will be gotten though that method and allow the community to feel more engaged
eck sorry gammer and spelling, stuiped deslixa |

i agree with movement being increased, but im one of the rare people that thinks base health should be upped just slightly because i feel, every body no matter the skill level should have a chance to react at being shot at even if its just diving for cover, right now if you get opened up on your fairly bonned |
