I really want to give this game a chance but it's really hard when I get killed as soon as I hit the field because I get dropped into a room full of enemies. This is one of several times I have had to mention this. It's a simple request that can be fixed in a number of ways. Let's try and get a little predictability with this game. I've also seen more than one complaint on this. I love also how I can light someone's shielding up for an extended period of time and not have their shield drop. It's either a glitch or you've got some cheaters on your game. |

Please try to keep the posts as constructive as possible as venting your frustration on the forums never helped anyone.
Feel free to share feedbacks and ideas on how to improve the game in a positive manner. |

1. If you are talking about the spawn mechanic in Ambush mode, I know what you mean. It needs more work. But CCP is already working on that if you read the sticky threads they posted. They constantly update those threads.
2. In regards to shield fluctuations and hit detection, that's a whole different beast that requires careful and complicated work to balance. One thing to be especially aware of is that if the enemy is right in front of you but settles close enough to an installation such a supply depot or a turret, the shield of said installation will interfere with the shots you put out. But it also depends on the angle in which you shoot from. Shoot from a shallow angle and you might hit the installation first. Hit from a wider or straight-in angle and you will kill your target. |

It's happening to me right now. This is the worst one yet. I've had it happen now 6 times in a row. They are just waiting at the drop point and then they blast away when you respawn. Really cheap stuff. |

Sounds like he needs to stop trying to drop from the MCC and come in on the CRU in the back. |

If you don't have an uplink that you personally dropped on the field, and you spawn in without uplinks equipped, you're doing it wrong. |

Since Codex release, I have rarely, if ever been spawned camped beyond once or twice on a Drop Uplink being held hostage by an enemy looking for easy kills.
The spawns around the CRU are usually (sometimes a little predictable) pretty random. And you do always have at least one other option if they happen to be spawn camping one drop site.
Also, if you're spawning in an are that you believe 'may' be camped... you can get ahead of them by trying to move before you've fully materialised... You'll actually begin moving while invisible, and reform (using that word as it seems somewhat appropriate considering the lore) as you move. I have managed to do this, and when my black screen fades, I end up with a clear shot on said Spawn Camper.
Granted that has only happened twice, but it has also worked simply to keep me alive a few seocnds longer, or allow me to get away, or distract the camper enough for squad mates to get through. |

Instead of jumping straight in after dying, try doing what most of us do and take 15-20 seconds on the overhead map, plan ahead, avoid swarms of red dots, spawn on blue dots, use your initiative bro. |

Actually I've seen no instruction on how to choose a different drop point otherwise I would do this. Second not everyone shows up on the overhead map. Thirdly, I'm not a bro...dude.lol^_^ |

Now that's very useful information. Thank you. ^_^ |

Simple Stuff. Ambush: Use CRUs and Uplinks with care, if you spawn in and get killed, instead of pressing X instantly on the map, press Square, it'll give you a random spawn instead of spawning you at the CRU again. You see many players spawning and getting killed at a CRU, they're being farmed repeatedly by better players. TL;DR PRESS SQUARE WHEN PROMPTED
Skirmish: Don't spawn at the same locations you keep repeatedly dying at, look for another spawn point nearby or start back at your base. If redlined, don't repeatedly jump out of your MCC, when landing there is a few seconds freeze when you hit the ground, YOU WILL DIE IN THOSE SECONDS. You could be a very tanky heavy and you will still die in those seconds. |

On the spiky map what you can do if people are camping the mcc includes:
Spawning on the ground and avoiding the campers altogether.
Spawning on the ground, driving up the road on the left so you can kill the campers/provide cover for a drop.
Spawn on the ground, take a vehicle to the spot under the mcc so people can jump on top and enter (hitting O near a vehicle cuts off the inertia damp landing animation).
If the shields aren't dropping just keep shooting. There's a visual glitch that will only show armor dropping after the shields are depleted.

I was under the impression that you control where you drop in at on ambush? If you look around on the overhead map before you spawn you can select where you drop when confirm your spaen a reticle appears briefly on the map centered around where you were looking. You have full control or at least I do...as for skirmish I haven't played that mode very much yet...I'm new;) |
