gameplay no longer fun gotten repetitive and there nothing to work for not much content to play with and with Blop 2, AC 3, crysis 3 and other games out or coming out im pretty well and good done with dust this build. no point in grinding when there is going to be a reset no point in practice when most of the mechanics are going to/need to be changed so currently im wasting my money for the fun of it and well now ive wasted all my money so see you guys next build it was fun while it lasted.
i looking forward to the next build and wipe first so i can play with some new stuff and second so i can set up my characters right this time around. also since avenger outright stated he gave up on dust and refuses to play till its launch i need the wipe to get all the BPO and extra merc pack stuff he has and but it on mine.
see yall next build, now on to zombies black ops style |

oh wow, and I thought EA was the bottom of the pits. Never had to deal with Ubisoft before, only ever bought I think 2 of their games |

I'm yet to have a single close-to-relevant response from Ubisoft Support in less than 3 months after asking for help.
I've been asking for help repeatedly for several major (some game-breaking) issues, mostly with Assassin's Creed games, over the past 3 years. None of my complaints have actually been fixed properly. Most have either been completely ignored or made WORSE in sequels.
When dealing with EA, I've never had to wait more than a week for a relevant reply. I've had a couple of issues they never bothered fixing, but at least their staff are competent enough to figure out what the problem is after 2 or 3 tries, instead of spending literally 3 months trying to insist that a multiplayer lag issue is a "graphics" complaint. Or trying to tell me that my ADSL2+ connection is mobile broadband and that's why I'm getting lag. |

so crysis 2 = fun compund bow = fun crysis 2 + compound bow = lots of fun. not palying it for new gameplay and emchanics thats what im hoping dust will become im playing it cuase its a fun and engaging game that makes a player think and get to play around those awesome maps.
Super Cargo wrote:Yep, because nothing says new and dynamic gameplay like Call of Duty.
obviously im not playing CoD cause it some new game im playing it cause its got a formula that works and its something to do with friends its a fun game that works not because it new or is doing something thatGÇÖs new its because its balanced, stable, fun, and its something you can do with your friends.
im hoping dust will become that new dynamic and enaging game i playing Blop so i can play a fun game that works and its pretty well and good ironed out. |

You know, I absolutely despise CoD with far too much of my being than should be healthy (I mean it is a game after all!) But honestly... Ops Fox is right. CoD just HAS something. It might not be to everyone's taste, but it sells millions and it sells that for a reason. It WORKS.
I wouldn't say it's anywhere near a reason to stop playing Dust, but I am getting fatigued. Same happened with me and Mech Warrior online. The threat of wipes just put me off playing the beta. I know that's not what we're here for, but it's getting harder and harder to motivate myself to play in the current, missile spamming, EZ-Sniper game mode we have right now.
Come on CCP, let's get that territory control meta-game in and let me start building my own gear and tanks and the like with my captured zones. The combat without purpose is getting old~ |

So we will actually be building our own supplies? I thought it was eve side supplying us :\ so that means theres an entire field of skills yet to be seen. |

Is the jist I got. Or at least Dust mercs will be responsible for holding the ground installations that'll fuel their own productions. I was under the impression Merc based corps could supply themselves in isolation and sell onto the EVE Market. |

In a few previews and videos, the devs have specifically stated if that somehow, one game magically ceased to exist, they want the other to be capable of standing on its own.
So DUST Mercs will have ways to produce our own gear, and get ourselves between planets, without needing anyone in EVE to do the job for us. |

How new and dynamic can you possibly make shooting people in the face?! By that rationale no one will by BLOPS 2 or Halo 4.... No one is buying those games because they are new and exciting, they are buying them because they were released. Dust will be released eventually, probably with more than 4 maps too. |

Yes. Having first hand exposure to both Ubi and CCP I'll take CCP's support no question, of course I'd take either of them over EA.... but wow am I off topic for a feedback forum.
Hey Fox , did you mean to put this in here bro?
Anyway /back on topic
I'll see you when you get back but steer clear of Blops , word in corp chat today is that it isn't worth the price of admission. Regardless hope you enjoy and send me a squad invite when you get back, I'll still be here

Look forward to seeing you back Ops, it's always fun to gun for ya. ^^ (It's because of the name, names that stick out I gun for more often.)
Off topic: Cross... I still hope for a day when we can share a corp. You're an asset Zion should be immensely proud of. Until that day, looking forward to gunning for you too. |

Having first hand exposure to both Ubi and CCP I'll take CCP's support no question, of course I'd take either of them over EA.... I've had first-hand experience with all 3. I'd take CCP over EA any day, but I'd actually MUCH rather ask for help from EA than Ubisoft after my experiences with them. As mentioned previously, at least it takes less than 3 months to acknowledge the actual question I asked instead of finding as many ways as possible to avoid actually reading a whole paragraph of typing.
Also, unlike EA, when you spend 6 months talking to Ubisoft without a straight answer and start to shift from the main question to a secondary complaint about the service, they claim that you weren't being helped because you were "abusive" even though that have to look 6 months past the time you asked the question before they can find any evidence of said abuse, and even then a rational person would only call it frustration.
So... the reason I was waiting for 6 months without an answer is because I got sick of the lack of support 6 months after asking the question? Pretty sure it doesn't work like that. And the reason I'm still waiting literally 3 years later is...? Haven't had a straight answer to that question either. |
