That's as solid a defeat condition as the MCC destruction, and NOT a time limit based defeat, which is the only specifically defined invalid loss condition. While it's a shame the devs didn't think to include it in the rules as a way to win, I can't see any logical reason for this to be discounted.
Although at the same time, I think it's a legitimate topic to question, given the wording of the rules.
For the record, I'm not affiliated with either corp, neither are my alts, and I don't particularly care who wins because it was never going to be me or anyone I know particularly well. But I have been following intermittently out of curiosity, and I have read the rules, several threads about different tournament events, and the whole of this thread up to #34. |

I've played with imperfects enough to know they are all legit and as it was said before when clones are depleted the MCC is destroyed so depleting clones can be considered the same as blowing up the MCC. Although admittedly the whole clone mechanic is rather confusing, at least in this situation. Either way Imperfects won fair and square and SI is cool about it.
From what I've seen of them at least none of them would do something like this. Might be someone from another Corp you guys beat earlier if you ask me. Either way from the sounds of it it was an epic match and I hope we'll be able to watch it some day, one for the record books. |

That's convoluted crap! When have you ever played a corp battle or even a skirmish with a timer? Answer is never! So why include language describing a timer? Simple in this case clones would be a timer, a timer that can easily be run out by either team before the MCC is destroyed. When was the last time you saw an MCC blow up when clones are depleted? Answer Never! Because it doesn't and there still can be survivors alive and taking/ holding capture points when the last clone dies. That argument is just wrong and holds no water and you and anyone else who uses it is an idiot plain and simple. Why is it you Betamax people are always defending the Imperfects?! It makes no sense, first they betray you all, stab you all in the backs and leave and then all they do is talk **** about you guys all the time. Yet all ya do is defend them anytime they are slandered its moronic. Everyone knows they use modded controllers, just like everyone knows they use to boost all the time and they were definitely one of the first corps to exploit the eve isk transfer, now there is no doubt that they farm new characters to keep their corp well supplied. Heck in one night alone I saw their corp member numbers jump from 44 to 43 and back to 44 at least 10 times in 2 hours. All they do is exploit, cheat, and double-cross their allies when ever possible, that is when they arn't rage quitting games right and left to preserve their precious leader board positions that is. So again why support them? Why defend them? it's stupid, your stupid. |

I'm glad the tournament is finally over now. Been waiting ages for my next update.  
Win or lose, it's taking part that counts... 
The tournament has taught me not to take this game to seriously. 
It seems there's going to be an upper class or Elite, player base, whom will just put others off playing it.  |

No, to put this to bed I have zero affiliation with this corp. I am a free agent. At one time I did belong to The Southern Legion but I quit due to disagreements with most of the corp members, they wanted to be more like Imperfects and wanted to start exploiting. I wanted no part of it so I left. That was on a different name I do not use anymore. So put those thoughts to rest, you can see by the date I rejoined Royal Uhlans that I've been on this name for awhile. I know I did not play in this tourney but it doesn't change the fact that rules were stated and not followed. If I didn't say something no one would have and this travesty would have gone on without resistance. All evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing, so something had to be said and done. |

If you have any respect at all for SI I would ask you to stop.
Why not make a post in feed back about effective ways to run a tourny etc but please leave us out of it. So far all your doing is anoying SI after a night of massive fun.
We had a good night now please if you must go post somthing useful in feed back and without the name calling. |
