You know with ships and submarines and stuff.Cant remember if this has been suggested before sorry if it has.But anyway it could even improve interaction with players.Like eve players dropping in ships, ships shooting a dust fighters or landing ground troops on a shore.Underwater combat as well with hostile aliens(like sharks) submarines and underwater fire fights with special water Dropsuits. |

Island maps would be easier, or a coastal region, but not underwater.
There might be a water vehicle for these maps that would be able to transport players from one side to another.
Either that, or they make it like a river or lake that's shallow enough for troops and land vehicles to cross similar to the maps in star wars battlefront or battlefront 2 |

I am actually a huge fan of the idea, underwater combat sounds great! except for the special dropships.. maybe like command a sub, or just fight in the corridors of one. Also, fight on the decks of battleships and such. Could be a very great idea |

I wouldn't have anything against marine combat, but i remember some people opposing this suggestion earlier for whatever reasons they had. |

It was, and the questions drew some curious smirks from the devs.

They aren't going to make a type of terrain type that eliminates the ability for people to use tanks or other land vehicles, and force them to otherwise create essentially an entirely new game. When oceanic planets roll around, it'd either be on very large platforms suspended above the water like in that Star Wars movie, or it'd be underwater sites, either totally domed-in or consisting of many large pipelines like Rapture, from Bioshock, albeit on a much larger scale to allow tank combat, flying vehicles, etc. |

i would like no map to be just complete water it be horrible have a horrible imbalance and lore wise wet water navies would be pointless they would be large enough to lock on to from orbit and being the ocean very minimal collateral damage, so logically orbital bombardment would rule the seas.
However having maps with large amounts of water in them or even oil rig or kamino like platforms would be viable for example a map that is set around a bay would be cool and allow water transports and gunboats to become viable or the classical kamino like platform to battle on.
if water was added are suits should have a limited swim function and complete survivals in water these are suits built to act as basic armor and universal survival suits, so it would make sense. |

I think maps with visible oceans would be a good idea. Not so much the underwater combat and special dropsuits. |
