Shotgunners have killed me many times because i couldnt back away fast enough. They just hop around till i run outta ammo and have to reload or switch weapons and then they sprint up and one shot me. If anything at all needs a nerf it is the shotguns...yes shotguns are powerful close range but against 390 shields and 320 armor? or even 212 shields 420 armor? or how about 456 shields and 212 armor? those are my fits...thats nearly 700hp that shotguns are knocking out in one shot. Snipers can only do that to me with a head shot...Dont change your play style...learn how to use your weapon.

Not fun getting killed by an AR. CCP, please nerf them. They take no skill. It's point and click. You aim at somebody and shoot. How is skill involved? Also, please nerf everything else whiners complain about. Thank you.

It's not even kitten funny anymore. In closing, I shouldn't have to change the way I play (running out in the open), and thus, the AR's should be nerfed. CCP, please listen to this. It's an incredibly valid argument.

But really, I shouldn't have to be forced to "learn" anything. The way I play is the way I play, and it's really annoying to get shot by an AR when you can't shoot back at them. They're OP, and need nerfed.

Tell me, when is the last time anyone has ever personally used one of any of the above to make this OP claim valid?? Im getting sick of all this OP crap. The only thing in this world that's OP is Obama. +1 Most weapons in the game are overpowered, I agree. But we can only work on one weapon at a time. Let's get the AR's nerfed, then move on to other weapons. Together, we can do this!

Kind of shocked so many people bought in. Obviously this was made to highlight all the nonsense on these forums, particularly the thread Salty referenced. I'm very appreciative to whoever made the "your game versus the game" comment. I couldn't agree more. The problem is, these forums are filled with people who think their game is the game, and that's absurd. The thread I was mocking about snipers is hilarious. I play as a heavy with one alt, an AR assault with the other. I hardly ever get killed by snipers, so it's a belly full of laughs to read that they're ruining the game. Of course, sniping isn't the only thing people cry about and want nerfed. It's just silly. And it's funny that tactics people offered here to avoid AR fire, like taking cover, are completely brushed aside when talking about other weapons. Other weapons are OP, but for the AR, you just need to play better and adapt (which I agree with- I just wish that kind of thinking was applied to everything else). Someone posted that we don't need to worry about CCP ruining the game- the beta testers will do it. Wiser words have never been spoken.
