I know people have said this before but no one proved it. ARMOR TANKS SUCK. Here is why
I have a surya and 2 gunners with mics and i come up behind a SICA completely catch him off gaurd and he mureders me with 25% shield left. i think 6-7k base. Me with my 11K health PROTO tank loses to a MILITA sica u know there is a problem. I can't even imagine a sagaris or what tht would do to an armor tank. Keep in mnd my tank had 8,300 armor and 2,700 shield.
CCP you need to fix this. |

CCP you need to fix this. How many armor repariers?
2 repair units were on and i had a blaster with 2 missile gunners. Also to the other guy a sica with 6-7 k shield will not have a hardener. :)
Edit: i also had a shield rep on. |

I've also seen this militia tank kill 2 gunnlogi's and a dropship in a single game, this person knows how to fit vehicles and knows how to use them.
and this is mostly a QQ thread i'm thinking cause you spent over a mill just on that hull and it died to a either better fit tank or better team of players...
Armor needs hardeners but idk about the more natural resists as JJordawg stated above. The armor tanks are pretty good in the right hands, even with the current bias to shields on everything else.
rly i didn't see the forge gunner. Although i still whouldn't lose tht easily. i mean tht was still a proto vs milita fight. even if the forge had sgot me twice i still had the backs of u all. Lol he players were good but the build can't get any better everything i had was to the max and i had the mt health possible with the tank. I think it was all u guys around the tank with ARs Lol. |

ur a fail because i use it in order to survive more swarms. also i get more health from this than just armor. 10,600 armor does not beat 2,600 shield plus 8.700 armor with reps. so there ur answer. : btw 10,600 is the max armor u can have with at least having 2 reps. 1 rep is just suicide. Lol. |

i have a 10,600 armor tank and quite frankly it SUCKS compared to my shield armor one. It does in every way. slower more damage to swarms. and lower health. i know how to fit a tank. but yea armor gets no love compared to shields. Lol |

CCP you need to fix this. Bad tank driver complains that his fail fit cant even kill a basic milita tank lol Sica even with 6k in shields is still 6k with no resist mods at all and is easy to pop in general
as usual haters going to hate. i flank him first of all. so i know how to kill. This is my point of a armor tank being to weak. As usual a noob continues to say crap he has nvr used. Like i tell everyone. Don't say **** unless u have used an armor tank. So please stick with ur shield tanks and dropships and say how i suck because of how underpowered armor tanks are. U HAVE NO IDEA. Ask anyone they will tell u a sica can kill a surya no problem. Reason being it can 3 shot my tank not considering the forge gunner apprently and the i have a blaster which btw not effective vs shields. put fact of the matter is tht i should have easily won or ccp has failed armor tanks. I read ur threads and i like them but all i here u say is how overpowered missiles are. A blaster rips through shields 6k sica has no resists or boosters and if you had gunners thats more damage Ive used armor tanks so your wrong but i dont use em because i already know how unbalanced they are, the current situation is shield + missiles tank and AV is the forge gun because its more effective against shields, if you use anything else tbh your doing it wrong because its not worth it The community complained enough and armor and hybrids got ****** leaving shield and missiles to take centre stage
I agree with ur statement. although don't get a suyra if u have a maudger. Lol trust me not worth it wat so ever i meant 1,000 more armor looks cooler but it does ****. Lol |
