just felt i'd share this with my fellow logibro's who are having tank problems. It's actually quite possible to do some serious damage to a Tank and in some cases even destroy it by yourself. Which is extremely satisfying btw :D

So your gonna need two things.

First: Anti-Vehicle Gernades. Any Variety will do, I used the regular ones to take down a Gunnlogi.

 Second: Nanohive.

[WARNING] This tactic is kind of a hit or miss. So take proper care when trying to execute. Don't try this in the middle of a big field.

Step 1. Analyze your target. Find out how many Gunners he has with him. The more gunners he has the harder it is for you to sneak up.

Step 2. Get behind it, Above it, Below it, In front of it. Just make sure your close enough to where the AV gernade you throw will home in on the tank and that the Tank and it's gunners don't/wont see you. ( I personally like to be above my tanks)

Step 3. Throw a Nanohive down in front of you. Make sure you don't need Ammo for you gun as you want your Nades to regen asap.

Step 4. Throw as many AV nades as you can. Make sure to adjust your aim so that your AV nades hit. After you throw about 2 he's going to start moving. That's where things get tricky. The tank is going to panic once it notices that it's being hit hard. If it has gunners they're going to be looking around for you. once you've seen how much damage your AV nades do you'll know how many you need to take out the tank. So refill and then go after him.

 Happy Hunting :)

 Keep the faith.

Awesome post, the only thing I could think to add is after the shield is broken by grenades, a mass driver does decent damage to a vehicle's armor.

This is probably more survivable than spawning a forge. Will give it a try +1

What I wouldn't give for a Logistics suit with 2 grenade slots. I'd give up two equipment slots in a heart beat to run with flux and AV grenades.

lol maybe they should have put that on the Type-II and B-Series Logistic Dropsuits to cover making up for losing an Equipment slot. Would be really cool. We still die fast but have 2 Gernades and 2 Equipment slots. Would add an interesting new element to Logibro tactics :)

With as much Variations as the grenades have i could see a Demolitions Dropsuit being made. I kinda wish they'd just make "Remote Explosives" fit in a grenade slot rather than an Equipment Slot.

Good post with some good comments as well.

My Assault/Heavy still prefers a Forge Gun. The pop is very satisfying.

Don't forget proximity mines. Snipers aren't the only creatures of habit. Tanks have to plan escape routes in case it doesn't go their way. Use AV nades to scare the less experienced drivers into a mine trap.

I've also skilled into missile turrets and they can hit hard enough for a meta 4 turret to take out a tank by surprise. Rail gun tanks are the easiest with their slow tracking. Also remote explosive are nice to toss under a stationary tank and then blow up(even if u are dead)

As a tank driver, I have respect to those who use skilled weapons to destroy me, those that use militia weapons and av grenades alone are just bitches. Those of you who who actually skill up to use av equipment, you have my respect.

I have a 'Skinweave' Logi suit and this is how I prepped it for AV.

Weapon: Swarm Launcher (standard, you don't want to have to reload too much)
 Equipment: Remote Explosives, Nanohive
 Nades: AV

I find that when you need to get a neutral turret out of the way so you can deploy vehicles, the remote explosives will do the trick. You only need two to get an installation down to the skin of its teeth. You can just use a nanohive and deploy another explosive if you must.

The swarm launcher is wonderful against Vehicles because it's very mobile and when granted enough ammo (use of nanohive) you'll get the HAVs running and LAVs dropping.

HAVs are a bit trickier. Some maps, it's predictable as to where they will cross a point, so using the remote explosives at a bottleneck is useful, especially if you can use your swarms on it first then have the HAV retreat over the explosives.

Hah, I have a pro way of removing ANY tank on the field, be it friend or foe.

Get a nanohive. Jump on top of tank. Throw nanohive in front of tank. Tank blows up due to serious glitch.

Test this out if you want, but it's takes quite a bit of skill to get on top of an enemy tank, so caution is advised.

Scouts and assaults can do this as well. I have a basic anti-vehicle fit with swarms, AV grenades, and nanohives.

This is also a great tactic for clearing a base with standard grenades. Find a nice bit of cover, place down nanohives, spam grenades, and move in to finish off the wounded.

I use a Tech IV Breach Forge Gun for popping HAV/LAV/Dropships. Add 2 complex heavy mods and you have some serious boom. Though the splash radius on a breach is 1.2, if it hits, it freakin hurts and will get the attention of the tanker.
