These are things that I am hoping for and even expecting from CCP to implement in the next reset update.
*Official Alliance function. I want to see how alliances would actually work out. I want the option to trade between corps in an alliance. This would make alliances more useful.
*Corp Armory. This NEEDS to be implemented no doubt. I am sick of salvaging good items that are useless to me and not being able to give them to my corp mates. I have over 100+ dropships and tanks collecting dust.
*More beta keys released. I want them to start expanding further. Our playerbase is extremely small right now and well it gets boring. Make the keys more public.
*This goes with previous one. I want them to increase the player cap in a match. I think it's time for 48 in skirmish. This would be ideal to stress testing the server and making the matches more tactic-friendly. Right now I am able to sneak in alone behind enemy lines and kill 10-15 easily in one life. That is NOT good. More players = harder to solo.
*Increase squad capacity. This is ALSO A MUST. It sucks having a lot of corp mates online but only able to team up with 3 others. It makes no sense having squads that small on maps this big. At least let multiple squads que up together.
*Less splash damage on dropships. The biggest problem with the dropships is their offense. Small and Large missiles do WAY too much splash damage. The missiles land yards away from me and still kill me. They are also too fast. It's not that the swarm launchers are slow, it's the dropships that are too fast. Dropships can maneuver around the maps WAY to easily.
*Tanks are not OP. The only problem I have with them is their range. They have way too much range and it gets worse when the missile disappears mid-way and hits you with thin air. Decrease their accuary the further they are.
*Fix red-lining. Make kills from behind red-line worth ZERO xp. Some snipers go 20-0 because of this. Horrible.
*Don't change sniping. PLEASE. I am not a sniper, btw. Snipers in this game are different than other games. They're unique. If you constantly get killed by snipers than you are just... idk. There is enough cover in this game to hide behind to avoid snipers. Move from cover to cover and you'll be good. You nerfing the snipers = useless snipers = one element taken away from this game.
*More EVE interactions please.
*Finally, being able to buy and sell to other players. It is time to make our own economy. We are supposed to be testing for bugs and stuff, but we need to test more than the combat. It's been months already. We HAVE to move on already, CCP.

I agree with everything on this list. I would also like them to restore repair WP while finding some other way to disallow boosting.
I'd also very much like them to figure out a way besides diminishing returns on SP to keep the hard core players from greatly outdistancing casuals. Going from weekly to daily is a step in the wrong direction, although I definitely see the need because there was no reason for people to play the last few days before the reset every week if they had already hit major diminishing returns. Switching to daily will only cause people who can play every day to get further ahead quickly, which is why a totally different system needs to be implemented. I can't think of a good solution to this, but between the two weekly is better as long as there are other ways to keep people busy when they aren't getting much SP per match. LP might be an option. |

Good points all of them.
As I've said before, CCP just needs to do 3 things to get this game ready for launch:
1: Fix framerate and lag. 2: Add more game modes. 3: Add more maps.
These are my personal issues, and seeing the changes CCP has made to Dust so far, and the extended time until launch, I feel pretty confident they'll manage to fix this. A little more unsure about the game modes, but I have faith.
If they fix those three things, I can wait for the rest, I can even live with the small squad size and the other things you mention. But all in all a good list. +1. |

Well I agree with almost all of your points except the point regarding snipers. Right now it is far too easy to snipe because you have no bulletdrop ( no i don't want bulletdrop that would not fit the sci-fi setting) and no scope sway while crouching (which is plain stupid especially regarding the sniper rifle skill.. Before you ask I have sniped a lot...

you should probably not play the same game .. cards offers a covered some places but they are all made GÇïGÇïup of mountains all around that give almost impossible blankets all ... especially the map "manus peak" which absolutely catastrophic level of coverage ....
No need skiller in the sniper to do damage now, and unfortunately aillor ...
The sniper you put a knee and you're under static devients after 1.5 seconds .... you can more clearly see the enemy through the thick fog .... just because you see a big figure completly black is a player ...

That is all.
1. Alliances will come later imho, corps need to be expanded 1st
2. Corp Armory: YES hope this comes, tired of gettin officer forge guns and bunch of dropships i cant use lol
3. Open beta hopefully would be nice but only if the game is fixed up alot 1st....dont wanna give newbies a bad impression
4/5. YES tired of 16v16 increase player cap and up squad size to 6 and give us the ability to load out at least 2 squads in hisec
6. Dropships problem is simply missiles
7. Tank problem is also missiles, the range and use of the other 2 large turrets are not OP in any way
8. Get rid of the redline and instead implement a Planetside 2 force field where defenders cant shoot out but aggressors cant shoot in either
9. Only change id lobby for sniping is LOWER body shot damage. Make headshots more rewarding. Headshots = skill |

What i hope: - armor tanking LOVE. Half of the AV weapon deal explosive damage (more effective vs armor), the other half deals hybrid damage (equally effective vs shield and armor)
- medic love: repping/reviving/resupplying people using advanced/proto gear should give you more Xp/isk that using militia stuff.
- dropship love. Give dropship pilots WP for spawning and moving people around REWARD THE FOR DOING THEYR JOB
- All missile turrets nerfed
- AR balanced a bit so that they aren't the best weapon for everything but tanks
- a popup when joining a battle "Do you want to candidate for leadership?" [yes]/[no] so that people who don't care aboud giving orders don't became leaders.
- Armor tanking love |

Ahh yeah I forgot about the repair WP issue. It makes NO sense not giving any points to our healers out there. That is the main reason every medic ends up retiring from healing. It's a waste of CPU and PG when you don't even get rewarded for it. I say give +10 WP for every 100 HP repaired on tanks or dropsuits |

Snipers are fine. I've played on both sides of the rifle and the amount of cover is enough if you are aware of your surroundings. I am rarely one shot killed(headshots) by a sniper unless I'm running in a scout suit and rarely two shotted unless I'm standing still and the enemy has a tactical sniper rifle(can get two shots off before you have a chance to move). I rarely get one shot kills when using the charge sniper rifle(the rifle with the most damage) and there's a lot of time between shots.
The silhouettes in the fog definitely need to be fixed.
To try something with bullet drop try the experimental rifle. The range is great but the accuracy seems to be off even with closer shots(even on stationary targets). The explosion seems to get people moving though. |

Why should you get more anything because you have better equipment? Should people with proto ARs get more for killing with proto gear? The rewards are fine ( except for no points for repairs ) and not everything should be rewarded. Where do we draw the line for rewards? |

The problem with revives and heals is that they're given based on how much time you're healing and not how much you've healed. You get more points when repairing with militia gear than you do with prototype gear for the same amount healed.
You should also get points for the repair that the nanite injector does, as it stands it's better to use the militia injector, get your points for the revive and then use the militia repair gun to get even more points(well, that's how it was before they took away the points for repairs).
Standard snipers are not charging railguns, only the charge rifle is.
I did the math a while ago. According to game lore(sniper rifles fire at 2500 m/s and assuming earth gravity) the bullet time would be 0.4s and drop 0.78m over 1000m(the effective range of the railgun snipers is only 500m so 0.2s and 0.39m drop - at these numbers lead time doesn't matter but drop would).
The AR has barely any recoil, the sniper has none when crouched(the gun moves for a moment but the target ends up exactly where you left it). If you add recoil then you would make the tactical sniper rifles useless. If you remove it from the AR they would become even more godly. |

and why not? if the team is playing crap, they deserve to be treated like so. this is new eden. not tellytubby land.
the ONLY reason why there is a red line is because if they are pushed that far back they must be so bad they don't deserve to be on the field. they have sniper riffles too, and if they are getting picked off because they aren't good enough then they need to look at why instead of blame the game. There is only so much CCP can do to cater for the weak before they start penalising the elite.
the redline is subjective just because there is a point where the powners can't get to the powned doesn't mean the powned are just in a 2x4m area. there is plenty of room to call dropships, plenty of methods to counter. Fact is if your team is crap - then the only thing to do is wait or quit. |

What I hope for:
1. A more open market that allows us to buy/sell from other players. It doesn't have to be too complex. I don't mind being stuck in one system doing it as long as we have a functional local economy to start with so that CCP can gather more data on how to safely integrate regional economies as well such as The Forge and Domain. This will also allow for experimenting with alternative ISK sources such as margin trading and the contract system for those of us who don't make much ISK in battle (take me for example).
2. Contracts (the trading kind that you see in Eve). This will be important in testing out another aspect of the player-driven market and will open up new opportunities for scams and schemes. If Dust is to become a harsh world, it's economy needs to be cut-throat as well so that players will one day learn how to tell apart a legit trade contract and a scam. So, who likes to buy a Navy Issue Sica for 20,000,000 ISK?
3. Fix the shadow/light rendering of the characters. This problem is making profile dampening pretty useless at the moment. |
