Not sure if this belongs here or in the locker room since it does not directly pertain to dust but I am suggesting a page and maybe an app like cod elite. Where they show maps,corp stats,character stats,weapon stats maybe a character/vehicle builder with all the skills and fittings so u can plan your guy out before u make him in game. |

There is already an "app" in the making, which will provide all the vehicle / character fitting you need. It's for PSVita so there is a chance you won't be able to use it though.
Showing maps will be quite hard thinking that the devs are aiming for some kind of semi randomized map thing, meaning you would have for the same terrain multiple maps due to different installations. Naming every variation would be either too generic or too tiring to create and all in all just not feasible (imho).
My personal guess is that Corp Stats and Character stats might find their way into the EVE api so you might end up being able to use third party software (like EVEMon) to keep track of your character / Corps. But again thats just my personal guess. Then again i dont really care about epeen stuff like Statistics so i would be perfectly fine with ccp scrapping all kind of unnecessary statistics (like K/D W/L ration etc). |

My Battlefield 3 buddies all use battlelog a lot. There is a tremendous amount of information tracked in that game and it is nice to be able to see that.
Right now Dust tracks our warpoints and KDR.
The ability to track and compare player stats like:
-ammo resupply
-repairs (once fixed)
-drop link spawns
-revives
-kills
-kill assists
-successful hacks
-number of kills per weapon type
-accuracy % per weapon type (shots fired/hit)
This is the kind of data that modern FPS player like to keep track of and have available. Even looking at the list I made it looks pretty basic.
It also allows corp recruitment to get a very clear look at a person's play style and ability without any guessing. |

If they let us have api keys like eve, apps like this by third parties will pop up all over the place. |
