To balance AV weapons, all CCP has to do is put them as a seconder weapon for heavies. |

That would help. A heavy with a HMG and a Swarm Launcher would be awesome. What all do you mean by AV Weapons, though? Forge Guns, for instance, are AV, but unlike Swarms they work pretty well against infantry, too. Being able to walk around with an HMG and a Forge would be . . . not cool . . . actually, it would be very cool (as in a little too awesome), and I would spec heavy starting tomorrow if it were the case. |

Maybe lower the ammo on the forge gun or make the forge a throw away weapon when it's used the ammo? Using a forge gun to kill people is a skill so most people who kill with it will be a lucky shot. |

Personally, I would like an RPG type weapon that fits in the equipment slot. You can have 2 types one with lock on one with out and has 3 missiles. The lock-on takes more CPU and PG to fit.
This in my view will help AV be on the field. Assault can run with AV (plus AV or Flux grenades) for example as can scout, heavy and so on.
I know that CCP wanted to make AV a distinct class but I just dont think it is working - there is never enough AV on the field to counter the threats.
At the moment CCP has decided that AV has to be a distinct role so we see swarms and forge guns as a primary. But this to me slows the game down. Players have to stop aim lock and cant really get back into the game unless they get back to a supply depot and change loadout.
This type of equipment would allow players to deal with vehicle threats and still push the objectives.
I know an RPG type weapon is part of other FPS' and this wants to be different - I just think its a reasonable and sensible option to create balance on the field. |

Some missiles are issued as extra gear like the LAW and M-202 FLASH.
Something like a unguided swarm that fired its 4 rockets individually instaed of at once with no reload as a side arm would be nice.
It would be the reverse of swarm/smg (good av and little bit anti-infantry), ar/mini swarm ( good anti infantry and little bit anti-vehicle)
A one or two shot anti-vehicle rocket could be a grenade too.
There is a variant of heavy coming that loses it's heavy weapon for equipment slots, if it gets 2 light weapons I could see ar/swarm with nanohives as a popular fit.

I like the way AT weapons are now. I can kill tanks and drop ships with them and defend myself with my smg.
