1). Is this statement true? - Well, in it's truest sense, it is. This topic had nothing to do with Dust 514 and should of gone, if anywhere, to The Locker Room.

2). Why is this considered offensive? - Well, apparently the Internet is serious business, and some player QuickGloves decided to post his privet life on a game forum, thinking it would go well, so Regnum tried to be funny and posted the quote above.

3). What should be done about this? - Nothing, nothing at all. Sorry to sound insensitive, but there is a chance h QuickGloves is lying to us, for whatever reason I do not know. Plus, a comment is just a comment. And Regnum was stating the truth, that thread was off topic.

I think if you look up the word "tact" in a dictionary it may help with a lot of your confusion.

And honestly, why in hell would you post something this personal on a Forum? It makes no sense.

(Also speaking only for self, not corp). I don't really like QG, I find him to be childish and annoying most of the time and many of his forum posts to be unnecessary, but nevertheless I hope everything works out for him and his family. In terms of trolling -vs- crossing the line, it's all very subjective, at the end of the day let's just remember this is a game, and while this is a community, not all of us are 'buddies' or 'friends' -- that being said, nobody should be taking anything harsh personally.

This thread as it stands is wholly unnecessary, the Imperfects can handle their own personnel if they feel the need to, CCP can handle threads that go too far, other corps can worry about their own people.

First of all, I never said to kick him. All I said was what I would've done if it were one of my corpmates. It doesn't matter to me what you guys do or don't do. I was just simply saying that it may leave a bad impression on your corp just as if one guy cheated or boosted. Also, I don't know Regnum at all so why would I have anything against him?

I could care less about trolling but this was different. Do you know what an ectopic pregnancy is?? That means the pregnancy must be terminated and now the mother has to undergo surgery (which is risky) to do so. That's one lost life and potential complications for another. That's serious kitten business. You don't joke around on that, not even mistakenly. QG was obviously looking for support and Regnum was essentially telling him to shut up and take that elsewhere.

He did it for laughs and not cause he give a kitten about any rules. I understand your desire to defend a fellow corpmate, but a better judgment would be to just apologize on his behalf. If it were you and you understood the seriousness of QG's situation, then you would've put a different foot forward.
