Tournament bracket changes ? Not facing team from your own group in quarters ?

Quarters finals are : ZION TCD against SI and WTF vs Southern Legion. Where initially it was supposed to be 1st vs 2nd of a same group. Personnaly, i tend to like it better this way as it allows to play one more different team and it's way more common as a tourney mechanics than having quarters between members of a same original group. Now, i would have thought it would be : First group A against Second group B etc... Thus => WTF vs ZION and SI vs southern. Dev input ?

Any tournament is supposed to give an advantage to 1st teams in round robin. Allowing them to face a supposedly weaker teams in quarter that finished "only" second in its group. Still, it's at the moment way better than having "intra-group" quarter finals but could be way more logicial

Maybe Tyas Borg has a good HAV. And i repeat, if dropships are the way to win, we are working on.

Oh and only having a dropship doesnt make you a good pilot. Like jenza i see her quite a good amount of times flying but she gets allways shotdown. Oh and beware of the frame rate issues you will get them and then you are dead. simple due to the fact when you freeze on your console your dropship is stuck in mid air and not moving. Good that i have better hardware then 99% off the players on this game. And i dont mean ingame items.

But admit that it's not really a glorious way ... You're just using exploit, even if you're a good pilot (no doubt on this) The good way as a Beta Tester, but no real glory on the battlefield....

I think because Zion and Sl came out on top of their respective groups, that's why they were paired together while WTF and SL were 2nd so we fight each other.

Idk between controversy over who got into the tournament, brackets that don't make sense, and now confusion over who is playing who, it just seems this was all very poorly done. Strange because CCP has been running the Alliance Tournament successfully for many years. I would think they knew how to do it by now. And now I understand CCP had originally intended to do A1 vs B2 in the quarterfinals (which is a standard tournament setup), but a miscommunication resulted in the A1 vs A2 setup. If that was the intention I dont see why not just do it that way but whatever.
