I'm tired of getting shot by snipers or people with heavy machinery that never shows up on my HUD.....especially snipers. When we get killed, it should at least show the direction where it came from. We don't need BF3's killcam but MAG's way of showing the direction in which you got shot from will suffice. |

Why? So you can go get a revenge kill and it kind of eliminates part of the point of sniping? No thanks.
I'm not even a sniper and I say don't bother with killcams.
If I'm not good enough to figure out where the shot came from, or situationally aware enough to identify those types of threats [and their likely crouched 'hiding spots'] and attempt to avoid hostile lanes of fire, I deserve to get sniped. Killcam = easy mode, novice, does not encourage anyone to adapt or improve, it simply gives them an easy revenge. |

Change the thread title ydubbs. This is NOT a kill cam. Face the direction of your death while bleeding out is a good call. If you are a clone, and you get shot, I'm pretty sure you'd know which direction the bullet smashed through your armour from. No bleed out (large railgun for example) means no change of facing though. |

not sure what MAG called it.....I figured BF3' killcam shared the same purpose. And I preferred MAG's system |

I really like it. I mean, when you shoot someone in the back, it's nice to have them face you. Teabagging is so much more rage inducing when you can see it comming. From a fat bloke who's been running (grim) I too have no idea what it's called. I think the new title is bang on. +1 sir |

You realize that it does show you the direction you were shot from right? Its the little red marks that flash when you are hit. If you are killed by that first shot you obviously don't get to know where the shot came from, you're dead after all. Why should a dead clone be able to relay information about their killer's local if they didn't see it first? |

That's why if you get no bleed out there should be no direction change. If you have bleed out time, you should face the direction you were last shot from. Because your suit can relay info you can't. |

Look if a sniper manages to find a well hidden spot to kill you from repeatedly, he -deserves- to continue to be able to do so. That said, I can't wait till Wolfman implements the changes to Sniper Rifles so they aren't cheesy faceroll. |

No.
That might be ok in single player games where you can simply save and reload a part you can't get through, but in a MMO would simply screw over other players (in this case snipers) who have made the effort to find a good position.
As noted above, you receive a red flash on your radar when shots/blows are incoming in any case. |

Sorry, but this DOESN'T screw snipers. We already get told which direction they're in when the fire. Simply facing that direction while down is no problem. Any good sniper will be 500meters away. This is more about being revived in a "fast and frantic" game. |

If you just want to know the direction you get killed from this is already in game - look at the indicator at the bottom of the screen. Re-aiming your cam is not needed, and and is "easy" mode. Learn to observe your surroundings; regularly scan ridge lines; LISTEN for the sniper rounds that miss to know someone has a bead on you; and if you die pay attention to the damage indicator. Keep your head in the game, and you will live longer and be able to take out the snipers. Also, if you do die, look at the overhead map. You will be able to spot snipers in the hills that way to know where the danger zones are - you might even see the one who took you down.

Please reread my last post. This is about facing the guy with a shotgun who just killed you, so that IF you get rezzed, you don't just get insta shot in the back. Snipers have the least the fear. It's not about a pathetic "revenge kill", it's about being worth reviving in the middle of the action. Heck, make it do snipers don't let you face ten if you're all going to be such wussy snipers :P |

nah, that would eleminate the profile skills entirely.
how about you just look on the mountain for them. thanks to the AWSOME graphics they are pretty easy to see. |

What if it only does it if the enemy that shot you was on tac-net (red chevron over them). So a long shoot or shot gunner with enough dampeners to be invisible to sensors remains undetected, only a enemy a team mate sees will cause camera to face.
A more useful camera in bleed out would be to allow turning head to see if you can spot enemy, or if the triage is actually trying to get to you or not. |

Fine. Might as well remove the injector then. I'll be bleeding out all the time because you get rezzed an stand still. You're a free kill. I let people get rezzed and get another kill and kill the Logi. Basically, rezzing isn't going to be worth it. Everyone who played mag knows it wasn't about 1vs1s. Or 8vs8. It was about your 16vs16 and who could keep their team up. A vital part of that is being useful when you get rezzed. Right now, people are just free kills. |

or it was fixed, maybe. might of been a glitch.
when i was resed i emediatly started running as i was getting up. don't know if that was a glitch or if it was working as intended.
snipers always kick me out of areas. manus peak is notorius for that crap.
i know where they are, i see some of them with my scanners and others are blantantly out in the open but because i don't have a sniper i cant kill them.
if our squad's sniper was on he would of picked them all off quickly. we later summoned a dropship and proceeded to fire missiles from above. it was humorous. |

Sadly true. Look at distant, distant hill, and its nice blue-grey colours. Notice that really obvious black dot? Thats the enemy
Hopefully CCP fix this with the next build. Its pretty funny wiping out counter snipers that think they are being incredibly clever, but really its just too easy. Not much good for snipers either to be honest. |
