the maps are going to huge and drop-ships cant be fired by the pilot. i just think it would be really sick if they had something like that in this game |

Cause, I think jets and helicoptors got outdated by dropships O.o cause drop ships can do the job of both :O |

Wait until the vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) fighters come back*. Those tanks and dropships will be crying 'uncle' by the end of every match.
* - VTOL fighters use to be featured in Fanfest 2009 (yes, an Xbox version once existed before Microsoft got too greedy) but had to be taken out because those fighters moved so fast that they frequently flew out into the red zones. They are usually used as tank killers and dropship hunters. |

The vtol fighters were going to be in at launch, but were removed so other stuff could get more attention. One of first few expansions should add them, so 2013 or 2014 we will have the jets. Gunships will probably be added first since it is less work to make a gunship dropship to go with the transport.
My thought on gunship is forward firing weapons aimed by turning ship re pilot controlled, other weapons on chin/belly turret with larger field of fire are gunner controlled, 2 person like many modern attack choppers. Owner could decide were to put the best weapons based on if he expects good gunners or randoms and intended role of gunship fit. |
