Mercenary Infantry Group (MIG) began a merge with CrimeWave Mercenary Group (CWM) a few days ago in preparation for the testers tournament but sadly didn't make it in. I believe their application was sent late although there are rumors of fowl play. MIG continued their merge with CWM anyway. Then sometime in the past 24 hours MIG's rivals, Universal Royal Allies (URA) began to flood the public chat rooms of both MIG and CWM. Harsh words were thrown back and forth and URA challenged CWM to a corp battle, CWM declined. Currently all chatter has ceased as CWM is forming a new chat channel. Updates to come if situation progresses.

Well now u know. Honestly I posted this up as news about 2 up and coming corps and their hatred of each other. And I say up and coming because URA claims to have 80+ members and after the merge of MIG and CWM is dun then CWM will have 50+ members. |

Tritan Industries stands apart from any/all alliances at this point. We feel not enough is known about the alliances, how they will form, what they will represent, and what will happen until the full game client is released. Additionally, it is our policy at Tritan industries to not make enemies based on forum or in game non-combat interactions, We will let our weapons do the talking and eventually enemies will emerge.
Currently, we have open and civil relations with all other corporations, but we are not in an alliance; Unofficial or official. |

Once the game releases we'll know WHY alliances might be important/viable but currently, your policy seems most sensible. |

Actually I can shed some light on the spelling mistake, our CEO was in a rush to create the corp (due to people wanting to test the corp battles and such) and made the typo. It will be fixed upon full release, were all just too lazy to bother creating a new crop in beta for a small spelling mistake.
As far as this bad blood between corps, I'll have to talk to the other directors about that since this seems to have happened when I was absent.
Good to see that Crime Wave is making "news" though. |

I am a director of CW, and there was no official challenge to a corp battle by URA. CW was established in 2009 and has been active ever since, we are migrating slowly from MAG to DUST. If a corp wishes to issue a challenge it should be done in a proper manner. What I remember is one kid with a trashy mouth in our room asking for a fight, I asked him kindly to leave since he wasn't invited and have his CEO write ours about the challenge. We are mature players and have no time for childish acts, let alone a battle with a corp that has no history, isk, or accomplishments. |

We might not have a bunch of hardcore players, but we are gaining quality members every day, hopefully upon full release we can get the rest of our cheap asses to switch over from MAG.
I've been playing with CW for years now, I think we have a solid group and the new recruits are doing well.
I kind of like the fact that people seem to have no idea who we are even though we are usually on the top of the leader boards in the games we play, were not here to beat our chests about who is the best.
We enjoy playing, and we will see where things go in DUST/EVE. |

Well, I've seen you guys around......popularity is given to those most at the top of the leaderboards or has been around for a few builds and also most active on the forums.
My question though is which faction did you guys play on in MAG? I thought I knew every clan in that game but I don't recall you guys. |
