No one should be stronger than another. Everybody should be equal. Its not the weapons or the skill that wins a war. Its the team work the tactics the strategy. I would put my soul on the table that you are wrong sir. Wars I won by having advanced weapons and also a skillful leadership. So yes they are both involved in winning wars. It is like saying a bronzed age army should win against a steel aged army of same size because they used teamwork better. Not because the bronze weapons broke as they hit the steal armor and the steal weapons cut through the bronze armor like butter. :/ Oh yes another question how do you make skill a none factor. How do you determine and grab players into a match and say they are even skilled.

Plus before when CCP fixed the boosting glitch. Me in the other hand and the other people while the ''curtain people boosted'' I actually played the game right. Gained my Sp and Isk with pure skill. I'm not pointing fingers I'm just calling it out. A sport is supposed to be fair. A tournament is supposed to be fair. Its like your fave sport team gets cheated by your most hated sports team because they used drugs to enhance their players. I wouldn't like that one bit. A warrior does not choose the strongest weapons to kill the enemy. The warrior uses their skill to out smart them and win. Having strong weapons does not make the army. Its the soldiers that make the army.

If i understand correctly, what you're suggesting would be to have everyone with a set amount of SP a set type of weapon etc... etc... But, that aint the purpose of this game. It's about the choices you make. And beside, the cap already does a pretty good job at making things fair as no one has a large amount of SP compared to another. Then, it all comes down to the choices everyone in your team made. What skill, what weapon, what vehicle, what equipment, what AV, how deep you focused on each element. And then, it's about individual skill and team alchemy. I would have understand your point if there still was no cap or SP contingency system and you were playing 30Mil SP dudes with a 10 Mil Sp team. So, this thread is in the end completely irrelevant.

We all know that before the logi nerf, SP boost was a practice for certain people. Those people gained a lot more SP then the regular players. A regular player can gain about 600k SP/week before he hits SP cap, so by the time we are speaking, after 3 weeks of playing and with the initial 500k SP, a player should not be able to have more then 2.5mil SP (that before the last SP cap reset). Until the time of the tournament one player could have a top of about 3mil SP. I find it fair to believe that anyone with lot of SP over 3mil at that time is a booster or he used exploits to gain that SP. I know that CCP said that exploits will not be allowed IN the tournament but I think that should also apply BEFORE so people who used such tactics to gain a large amount of SP should not be allowed in the tournament. I'm not saying they should be banned from DUST, let them enjoy their "superiority" until the next char reset, but don't let them in the tournament. Ofc, this is just my opinion, appreciate it if you like or just disregard it.

Is it fair to a team like the Salt Lake Jazz that possibly can't afford to pay their players millions per season? should the NBA cripple the Lakers when they play the Jazz because they have better players? No that dosn't make sence. In the same way things in the Dust tourny wont be "Fair and Balanced" in that we shouldn't cripple team like SI, Zion or WTF just cause they have players that might have more SP and better weapons and vehicles than say ROFL house or Kill 'em Quick (Not saying any of the four teams mentioned are lesser than others). CCP should not cripple the tourny for the sake of "Fairness"

Also players are free to move from one corp to another, corporations are allowed to recruit the players they like. That is not a problem. The only thing that CCP should look into for this tournament are the players who have way more then it should be.

Not everyone has boosted their way to millions of SP (max about 3.5mil SP I believe). Also, skill > gear in any way shape or form (not vehicles though :) ). Why should teams need to deliberately handicap themselves because they played longer? Silly.
