jenza aranda BetaMax. 1005	Posted - 2012.10.24 13:33:00 - [1] - Quote Unfortunately it seems that not everyone who wanted to attend the tourney like us could get in, which is why a few of us started talking in C3 about a few other community organised ways to have a bit of competitive fun. After a bit of silliness and actualy some good ideas we have an idea for a few events! LAV GP - fairly simple, a multilap race round the map on a preagreed path, HAV GP - like the LAV one but with tanks! Dropship Jousting - no gunners, just 2 pilots who go to ram each other untill there is only one left flying! first person to touch the ground looses! LAV AV grenade minefield slalom - a slalom of AV grenade gates! fastest completing time (without exploding) wins! hunt the lone sniper - highly dampened snipers litter the battlefield! person to get the most kills win before all the snipers are dead! Being killed means you loose one point LAV Long jump LAVs launch themselves gracefully through the air off a bump! longest jump wins! we want to come up with a few other ideas, anyone have any suggestions?

Took 10 seconds before it would let me stand up. ^_^

Each team protects a CRU on the 3 point map by staging players who CANNOT move in locations around it with only smgs. They Take turns calling 1 player at a time to try and make it through their line to the CRU(safeZone) each team gets smaller as the fight goes on. Most successful dashes to the CRU wins. - Runner cannot shoot back. - no blocking Bottleneck pathways (hills up to North CRU or placing someone along the walls of the buildings at South CRU)

Sad you guys couldnt get in ! Though, i like your olympics ^^ Might be more fun than the tourney itself.

Rail gun the heavy = You have a heavy stand in front of the rail gun and see how far you can launch him! Its similar to launching clowns from a canon? Heavy long jump = standard long jump rules except with heavies

Basically, the plan is to set up something like that once we have a wide access to planets and districts (to avoid unwanted fighting during the race) There will be staked LAV races- the drivers themselves have a small entrance fee, which the winner will collect all of. Spectators from both eve and dust will be encouraged to make bets on these races. Corps will also be encouraged to sponsor drivers, and it will be within the rules to jump out and use a repair tool. Already have 2 corps that seem willing to sponsor this/give security.

I <3 Jenza D3LTAFORC3 fully supports this initiative and will participate. Another idea: Hide and seek world championship! No respawning allowed. Both teams spawn in and hide. Only 1 person on each team is allowed to shoot, however this person must wait 1 full minute before his first spawn (I also suggest using a sniper). Last team with players standing wins! (bring your profile dampeners)

I remember when I was in a clan that played Blacklight: Retribution that every now and then we would join an empty Deathmatch server and come in with nothing but Machetes, and we would have a knife battle royale. It was even more fun with Team Deathmatch.

That may be the 1 thing in here that has a practical use. takes more skill to launch them at high speeds. Put some uplinks around the nanohive and have a game of merc darts.

Dust 514 is all about exclusivity. You got into the tournament, you can't play with us now
