I noticed something: to use a shotgun, you have to get so closeit's stupid, so why have them as a secondary? I perpose them to become a secondary, and give the SMG's and pistols slightly longer range (like 5 meters) so they can be a more ranged option, because right now, I see no reason to use shotguns unless you get in super CQ, and by then, your dead by assault rifles, snipers, and anyhting else that has more range than it (which is everything.)
OR
you could give the shotgun, and SMG more range (like 7-10 meters) to be more on par, and pistols still get like 5 meters, and keep it a primary. |

One shot kill secondaries seem like a bad idea to me, I do fine with them as a primary up. |

No offence, but that sounds like complete ****. Like really, that thing would have like a 10 meter range, and would only one shot under 5. It sounds cool to have a pocket shotgun, as a matter of a fact, there is a revlover that shoots shotgun rounds, but people say outside of ten meters, those 3 pellets won't do **** lol. That's why we could do option 1, or 2. Really, it needs to be option one, or 2. If we don't, then they will still be usless. |

Last patch I lvled them to max (and with the prof. at max) and they still were bad. The douvlle assault rifle trumps everything then and now still. |

I haven't played last build but on this one whenever I get into a appropriate shotgun range which is about right above 10 meters that means I get a one shot kill. |

Only using shotguns on close quarters mapsis how to not have to sneak up on someone, like not using a sniper rifle on those same maps |

Very high. It requires a skill set dedicated to stealth and speed and the scout suit. doesn't matter that I can't take damage if I can kill you in one hit (it just means that if I don't kill you in one hit, I am screwed). Side note, I only have shotgun leveled to 1 and I consistently get OHK with it and I use shotgun about 90%-95% of the time. |

No and No. AR and Shotgun combos would be ridiculously OP.
The shotgun is fine and so are the pistol and SMG. If your trying to snipe with them, your doing it wrong imo. They are CQC weapons. |
