yes im going their. i know we can move outside the battlefield . but come on walking in a room gets Kinda tad boring. i never even got a chance to walk on the ship. maby ounce i only got a chance to walk on the ship ounce an that was it . but OK here's what im getting at or here's what i wanna see in dust.... open world movement . what i mean by this is an im pretty sure other people will agree or have already said this; people wanna go out of the room, observes the fine city or ship you are on, look and chat with the other mercs, and when your planet is attack you get a world wide alert. calling all mercs on that planet to take arms against the opposing threat. but back to the open world exploring thing. and what should be in it...well here is a list
general stuff: 1. places you can walk around in 2. interactive npc's that will also have a market place interface(sorta like how ps home has its places to buy stuff) 3. interact with other mercs 4. emotes that you can do
places that you can walk on: 5. colony sized space ships(the general public to see eve and dust players) 6. crew sized space ships( for you and your squad mates) 7. basic planets( for beginners and starter players) 8. moderate planets(for average players) 9. advance planets( expert players) 10.underwater bases 11.fast travel gas stations(what i mean by this is that their will be a fast travel(warp gate) near a gas station that you can visit and also get a chance to see eve players leave and take off in their ship 12. a bigger room( my goodness please please a bigger room so you can buy furniture to put stuff to show off your skills and weaponry 13.merchant ship's( whare you buy equipment for your player
NPC'S IN THE WALK ABLE AREAS(mainly merchant ship): 14. male/female weapons merchant 15. male/female vehicle merchant 16. items and booster male/female merchant's 17. rulers of the planets 18. captains of the colony sized space ships 19. pilot who is flying your ship (either a eve player or a npc worldwide or thats in your corp depending on you battle situation)
20.HOSTILE THREAT: an new mode that features players cooperating to defeat the native creatures of the land you are on or trying to take from them. this would be a 20+ man coop team. in the new mode their would be scenarios called 1. swarm infestation 2. merc attack squad(should you loose the swarm infestation) 3.merc assault Zenok will explane them all in detail
SWARM INFESTATION: Zenok: you and your squad are the last line of defense in a upcoming and unknown threat they are in the hundreds maby thousands's. your objective is to stop and eliminate the enemy threat from getting past your defenses. you as a merc are hired and is paid by a universal group( brings all the corp's together) that hired or assign you to this mission. you will stand up for the challenge. and sense this i the dust universe every thing you do will either be good or be bad.. should you win you will awarded something great and something that would benefit you when you fight in the battle field and the planet is safe until another attack commences. also you get to be the bad ass to say " I TOOK OUT A WHOLE SWARM WHAT DID YOU DO o.O". but should you loose the operation you don't get paid and the planet is lost. but don't worry you get the oppratunity to take it back which leads into this
MERC ATTACK SQUAD zenok: operation merc attack is in effect. the previous squad you were in failed to do the job in stopping the swarm infestation and paid for it with their lives. now you have the chance to redeem yourself. here's the strep.you and your 20 man squad will be split into groups or squads. your objective is simple...take back what was stolen.. in our case the planet. the objective of this mode is to seize and hold key points for as long as you can until the location is locked. but be warned each location you take the enemy will evolve and adapt to try an stop you when you try to take the next location. the mega weapons are limited. such as orbital strikes which will have a number of 2 usages.(lets face it it wouldn't be fun if you could do it the easy way now would it lol). should you take this planet back you will be paid handsomely and deemed a hero and earned a medal to hang in your room or ware it on the battle field . should you lose you will get the option to try and take it back. well allot of try's actually lol.
MERC ASSAULT; zenok: should you choose this scenario you will have the option to attack the enemy head on. your whole objective here is to just wipe out the enemy from the area. should you win you get paied. should you loose you get nothing but a mission failed on your screen lol you could still replay the scenario as long an as much you like. with other people)
whelp those are my ides as for now. tell me if they are good cause im not use to writing what i think and i tend to alter what i think which screw's it up badly. but these ideas came to me out of no ware and i thought i should type my ideas for this game to the general public lol.. dust 514 is an awesome game and i hope they keep on adding on to it in the future for when it is released.. i freaking love this game |

Please break into little chunks so that your ideas can be discussed. As it is right now, it's a rather large wall o text that would require far more chewing than most people have patience for. |
