I don't care if you don't have a mic. I don't care what your KDR is. I don't care what your specialization is. I don't care about any of it.
I'm looking for people who don't mind playing in a squad without mics, since it seems most people here don't want to play with the players who don't have them.
I'm looking for people who are wanting to make extra points, but keep being auto assigned to squads whose leader never sets objectives.
I'll take anyone who want's to join, even if you do use a mic. Send me a mail in game, and I'll add you as a contact. I'll invite everyone who is on my contact list and whoever ends up joining first will be in the squad. Once the squad is full, I'll start a match immediately.
I set objectives in both skirmish and ambush, even when that means setting it on a random player in the squad. I try not to pick the same person every time once it resets when a player dies, but the longer you live the longer you will have the defend order on you.
If you will try to follow orders and want a squad so you can make some extra SP, WP, and ISK, hit me with a mail. As I said, no one will be intentionally excluded, whoever joins up first when the notification goes out will be added.
I'll send out invites every time I play, this isn't a one time thing, so even if your not playing today you can still join in. I play random times of the day, I have no solid sleep schedule, so chances are that sometimes I will be up and playing when you are on.

I have a mic, but there are several times where I just don't feel like using it. late nights if I am playing right before I go to sleep, when there is a heavy breather with PTT disabled, when someone is blasting music, etc. |

Gotcha. I'll start sending out invites either once I get enough for a full squad, or later tonight after I wake up and just hope for some decent randoms to fill in the open slots. If it's just me and one other, I'll just keep the defend order on you so you can do your thing without worries about sticking with me too closely. I play logistics usually, but until the repair tool is fixed I'm just trying to play regular AR unit. |

You should totally make a corp of Micless, yet competent, people. Call it the "Voiceless Warriors" or something. I'd be happy to mess around with that.
Mail me sometime if you want a vehicle driver. I tend to do a counter-sniping suit setup but am almost 90% of the time in an LAV or a Tank, and wouldn't mind having a competent gunner, though I can do solo LAV easily enough. If you want ground support or a quick ride to a sniper nest, give me a yell. |

Not a bad idea, but I just made this character so it'll be a while before I have that kind of capitol to spend on it. We'll see what happens. |

I personally use a headset with a mic. But use push to talk, since the keyboard button for it doesn't work, well. Rarely use it. Oh, but there are plenty of times I sure wish some of my squad mates indeed didn't have mics. I could tell you bout the time I had to listen to someone wheeze and each what sounded like chips or cereal through half of a game, till i muted him. I'll send you a message next time I'm on though. |

Excellent, the more the merrier. I've warmed to the idea of a corp for the Micless, I believe I'll do it. If you want to be in another corp for people with mics you can do it with another character, and when you wanna go micless you can use your character in the micless corp. I think it'll be interesting to see how well we do vs teams who all use mics. Just need to save up the ISK for it. |

Great idea, I'm down with this. No mike and I hate hearing squeaky voices coming out of my tv. I play as a sniper, though, so I tend to be too far to get any bonuses even when I'm actually helping with the objectives. When the situation calls for it I'll gladly switch to AV and I'm trying to unlock Type 2 scout suits so I can start dropping uplinks again.
Anyway, I'll send a mail tomorrow night when I'm playing again. |

But good idea though, getting all the mic-less, unorganised n00bs together and having a sqd match. Look forward to seeing you guys there.... on the enemy team |

It's not a bad thought, but at the same time not everyone has a decent PC mic. Also, I have cats that never leave me alone when I play, and I doubt everyone wants to hear me yelling at cats during a match.
But once I get a corp up and running, you guy can squad up and Skype all you want to stay touch during matches. I still probably wont since the whole point here is to give those who don't have or can't get the means to chat with a mic, or just don't want to use a mic, a chance to squad up without feeling left out or put down for not having one. |

1st to begin with why wouldn't you want to use a mic? It's soo much faster to communicate.. and 2nd- I know how you feel, by puppy jumps up and tries to chew by controller everytime i get on...... But hes sooooo cute, so i forgive him =)
And 3rd- You dam right they are going to be left out, when i'm in a sqd we choose people who have mic's a kick the ones who don't Lol, but most people have a mic so it's not a problem. But i guess that's why you have this topic so good luck i say. |

But it's nice to know I'm not the only one with pet interuptions.
And for not using a mic, some people just don't want to listen to other people breathe, some people just don't like to talk when gaming, some people get earaches from their headset, etc., etc.,etc. Point is that some people have reason to not use a mic. Regardless of the reason, I'm offering people a chance to squad up and earn some extra ISK et. al without worrying that they will end up in a squad with no orders being given.
Thanks for the well wishes, everyone needs a niche to fit into and I'm offering one. |

Without using mics over a period of time , that corp could be quite ruthless going against other corps with full coms. You will eventually get a feel over how everyone plays and how you work together. So you could likely pull off some sound strategies with no curve ball orders being dished out. Like when squad leader says " get to objective A " but then some other guy who has a more commanding voice steps in and says" take out that tank and grab the supply depot " . Now you got the group split and getting picked off and semi confused. group with no mics will stick together and continue with current objective and move on to the next imo. But it sure as hell won't work that way at first. This is over a good period of time playing and working together. |

Ok, realized saying "play at random times" is a bad idea. I'll try to be on from 8:30 AM Central US time until whenever, and I'll try to nail down a schedule that will work better for everyone at a later time. For now definitely 8:30 until at least 11:30 I will send out invites at 8:30, wait 5 minutes, then play a match, send invites, wait 5 min, etc., until I get people into a squad. Starting up the game now. |

Having a micless person in the squad doesn't bother me. Follow the defended target or follow a friendly. If you don't have a mic though, its not a good idea to be in a leading position if someone else has a mic who is compitent.

It's not the 100,000 ISK skillbook that is the issue, it's the 1,599,000 cost of starting a corp. But I appreciate it. ^^ |

I believe a chatroom for micless people to look for squad is a great start. A corp is costly and can come later. Just create a chatroom called "MicLess" and advertise epople to join should be enough for now IMO. |
