*EDIT* You could possibly go higher, but most aircraft would lose decomp during opening of the hatch due to no equalization of atmospheric pressure. Or the plane would stall, due to lack of oxygen to the fuel. Which would mean you would all crash and burn and die. |

Kittinger was on Felix's team for this, and he did it in 1960 from 102,000 feet up.
