I feel my people are not being treated as well as they could be; i keep getting cheated out of points when i rep someone up by either being unable to finish the rep or by the heals being done before i've received them. I think it would be handy, and a detriment to no one, if these points can be handed out on a per-second basis (or smaller armour amount repped basis, however the current point system is worked out for rep tools) rather then in one chunk. Not only does it feel a lot more rewarding to rep someone (raising incentive), but it also just makes plain sense to have rewards given out as the repping occurs as it rewards you promptly rather then putting your reward at risk of never being gained. Any others with me? I certainly don't see a reason why it shouldn't be implemented on a gameplay standpoint. Sincerely, your Logibro, LifeLine

Repairing needs to be based on the amount repaired and not time repairing. The problem is at the moment we've got tonnes of idiots out there boosting using the repair tools, so I don't expect any love in this department for quite some time.

Read the linked thread on this issue rather than jumping to conclusions. (i.e. don't lump legit LogiBros in with farmers just because farmers use some (broken) Logi tools) The current repair system (which covers Repair Tools, Nano Injectors, and upper Meta Nano Hives) is broken and rewards low skill low Meta gear over the effective team oriented gear. The system the OP is trying to have fixed is in fact part of what makes repping and attractive prospect for farmers. Trolling adds nothing to a beta discussion and this is a feedback forum no less "L2P" isn't an actual address to the issues raised in the OP. I want the farming *exploits* removed as much as anyone but attacking suggestions for improvement to the Logi system to kill farming makes as little sense as nefing scout suits to deal with broken hit detection. (Note: Not saying "scout suits were nerfed" just that it would make the same amount of sense)

TIME TO FARM!" this change would only make a diference to rering small amounts of damage

Well this frees up a slot on logi suits, now I can run nano hives in more builds... but they've been nerfed ...honestly the "these changes aren't final" part of the recent update from CCP is the only part that I'm really all that excited about. The PS spam was a pain sure, but it was a symptom of farming as much as anything and fixing farming by making the repair tool even less valuable is akin to fixing a fracture by lopping a limb.

It is even more apparent when you are on a really good logibro streak. Last night I just supported two slayers in a skirmish as we went from letter to letter and when one fell I'd pick em up, then the other would fall as the recently rezzed and repped finished the kill and I would pick up the second guy. Over and over again - it was great knowing I made a difference, but that counter for rep time is no good. (oh yeah, and don't forget to offer cover fire when neccessary - probably could have saved them a death or two)
