Shotguns and smg's are cqc weapons. Those are guns you should use at point blank range.

You can evenly use a pistol in close quarters... The pistol goes from POINT BLANK - to medium RANGE.

I've killed one person with it, I don't know why it does, near no damage. I mean its a laser it would slice some people up... Not in Dust514 though. Blasting someone through the head is just useless. From point blank range. Lasers are close quarter weapons. I would have imagined but they do no damage! Maybe its a anti-vehicle gun? Was my only conclusion, but that still doesn't make sense. Why would infantry armor be more stronger than Tanks??

Even at point blank range... A pistol does more damage from the hip and is more accurate. The SMG should do just as much damage as a pistol. Even the wide world of weapons, real weapons... SMGs hold the same type of ammo as hand guns... It just shoots faster.

He just kinda sat there, didn't move... Maybe it was melting his brain and it was kinda surprising him, but either way didn't kill him as fast as I thought it would have. I shot a dude for like 30 seconds with the gun constantly... Took that whole 30 seconds to kill him.
