One of the best, most awe-inspireing aspect of EVE online is that everything is done for the people, BY the people. Aside from High sec gear, practically everything on the market was made entirely from EVE players, and thus the market fluxed and moved like a real-live economy. (It basically IS a real economy) But in DUST as of now, thats not the case. Everything is sold by an NPC marketer and the prices don't change based on station or circumstance. So tell me, CCP. When will I get to sell all the salvaged material I've found to greedy buyers in both DUST and EVE?

Don't forget the 'player market' in eve was not introduced right away, it had to be drip fed into eve, The same thing will happen to dust. We will get the player market when it is ready, probably on full release or the 2013 expansion. Dont expect to test EVERYTHING in this beta, most of the really cool stuff is not even ready to be released yet. |

Very true, sir. But It would still be nice if I could at least sell my crap I don't need to an NPC vendor. Free up space in my assets and make some ISK...

Ooh, or they could make you build it in Dust. Just imagine, a giant virtual sweatshop where enslaved clone labor has to go through the same motions over and over again to produce individual modules of an Assault Rifle, for hours on end!

No, but seriously, I hope they give us more information on this interaction. I want to know if I can have a mining alt in EVE burn rocks so I can make stacks of weapons and suits which I can then ship to mine and my friends' Dust accounts. |
