Hello there.
I noticed you guys took off the equipment from the quick switch selection. I understand that this was a request made by several players who found annoying to switch through 2 or 3 equipment in order to get back to primary weapons.
But this made using equipment pretty difficult for KBM users as now, the "scroller" only allow choice between primary and secondary weapons. In order to use an equipment, you have to hold down "scroll button" and then move the mouse pretty hard to select the equipment.
Thus, i very much liked the previous system better. And i heard some Controller Users complain about that as well as they're not found of the Weapon\Gear selection menu that comes down by holding R2.
So, in order to satisfy everybody, would it be possible to add an option so people can choose wether or not they want to navigate through "equipment" while using quick change function (small tap on R2 or mouse scroller)

If you just tap R2 once you will switch to your secondary if you have your primary out and vice versa. However you cannot have equipment on your fitting eg nanohives. If you do this you will pull out your nanohive when switching, but still if you just use 2 weapons you can switch fast and simple by just tapping R2 once. |

What you say makes absolutely no sense compared to my original post, you aware of that ?
At the moment, you DONT switch through equipment using quick tap R2. When in previous build you could.

I have to agree with the OP.
We need a possibility to quick switch between the weapons and the equipment. It's hard to do it with a controller, it's hard to do it with KBM. As it was in the last build was ok, at least for the KBM with a scroll as 1-scroll up was giving you the equipment while 1-scroll down was switching you to secondary weapon.
Maybe make the switch button act like this: 1 quick tap => switch weapon, 1 long tap => switch to equipment. |

I love Logi. It's my thing, in whatever game.
I loved it in Precursor.
I can't stand to play it now. I'm a KBM'er. It takes entirely too much effort to do something I could have easily done before with the roll of a mouse wheel. As a result, I don't repair or revive people anymore, and only rarely drop a Spawn Beacon. Which is sad, cause I loved being part of the 'glue' of the team.
Please fix this CCP. If nothing else, give us the ability to CHOOSE between the two modes in the option menu!
I'm gonna go back to running over people and shooting them from vehicles now... |

I agrre with the OP. Give us the choice. I'm a controller user and the way it's set up now is just awkward. I liked it much better in previous builds. |
