I Want all of you out there, Snipers, assault, Ninjas of the battle field, and juggarnauts- to post your way of battle, and how you go about them. and not just that, but what you think the other classes (players) do as well. I hope that this thread will lead to people (the more serious players) to play in a much more advanced way, and create a level of complexity simular tho EVE online. So, share, compare, and learn. Because Many of our tactics today, will be obsolete tomorrow. Good luck. |

Rifle and a 6 shooter.
I'm a scout sniper.
My aiming is more than precise when I slay men We both got gats, letGÇÖs play for blood, just say when LetGÇÖs settle this so weGÇÖre crystal clear on whoGÇÖs the nicest and fastest ever IGÇÖm the deadliest pistoleer ThereGÇÖs no future for dumbf***s after my gun bucks Smooth when IGÇÖm maneuvering my six-shooter like nun chucks.
I'm ahead of the assaults, dishing out pain from a range. I make sure that the enemy stays driven insane. Don't f*** with me unless you want your face re-arranged aka a bullet through your brain. I eat up the n00bz like chow mein.

Juggernaut heavy suit + HMG some times I just soak up damage others..... well..... dead before I know what happened..... like earlier today I went from 800+ armor to 0 in one shot from an AR and I was like WTF
EDIT: I'm also the ninja of the new map(the one with the letters in an X formation) climbing one of the pipes running behind enemy lines(C) and either shooting down at them while they are behind cover hiding from the main assault force or jump down on top of them with my HMG smokin |

This build? Ok... Jump from MCC, camp, take HAV/LAV to objective, camp, leave HAV/LAV and take letter, proceed to next letter. Camp. HAV/LAV takes too much damage so jump out, camp, take objective. Repeat. With more camping.
Obviously anytime outside HAV/LAV never stop dancing.

Edit: forgot all the camping |

keep me updated on that. I like to be a Ninja on the battle field. I rather enjoy assassinating my enemies, Leaving their allies only a moment to realize their friend has passed on before I drop his body lifeless as well. I also like the scout role (calling out Data on the battlefield) picking off other snipers and marked targets (snipers are my favorite) but most of all, helping out that guy who is getting double teamed, out numbered, almost dead, or capturing a objective with the enemy closing in on him. I get a certain kind a gratification when I know hes like " Thank God!" and I say to myself " heh. I got ya covered. you can thank me later"

I try everything, yet in the end, I almost always end up back with shotgun scouts. Maneuvering behind packs of enemies, tossing in a grenade as I charge in to finish them all off; ghosting up behind stragglers, darting from cover to cover to pounce on reckless AR users...it all just plays so well into my skill set. Perhaps I might even start using remote explosives again |

You push the front lines forward and I will keep you armed, informed and unharmed.

Uplinks dropped to get you back in the fight fast Injectors flashing- nanites flooding your blood to get you on your feet Scanners beaming out to find them before they find you

This is vital. CCP should introduce personal micro warp drives so that way snipers can get a kill, warp to the corpse, teabag, then warp out.
Do it. Make it happen guys.

Shoot at big groups with my rifle (taking out a couple or getting them up to their armor) and run like hell. While they're chasing me, my team mates finish them off from their flanks. :P
This is especially effective when they get me down to a quarter armor since they will do what ever they can to get me and not minding other targets. Like dropping blood in a tank of sharks ;) |

That feeling when you're providing cover fire as a sniper.
You can't see the face of a player but you kitten sure it's a smile under there when you, and you alone, back them up, from miles away, as three soldiers close in on them.

Hope you're having better luck with the proxys than I am. Must have put down over 100 of them in the past two days. Not a single kill. I've watched LAVs and HAVs roll right over and nothing happens, not even a single explosion.

hacking - I run shotgun scout and focus on snagging whatever the enemy has control over, even the turrets inside his own base. I also have a build to throw down a respawn point usually at the top of the map so I, or my team, can pop up as snipers on the top of the world or drop down with hot death from above.
I avoid fair combat with sprint boosters and ducking behind cover. Then circle around to the unguarded capture points or unguarded flanks. A clean hack is as satisfying as a one shot kill with the shotgun. |
