1. If you hear a siren sound a. Use your 180 degree view to look for a big blue line of light b. Open your map and look at your map for a big blue line of light 2. If you dont see a big blue line of light in your line of sight or in your area of the map, you are safe 3. If you do see a big blue line of light run away from it, not towards it 4. Search for buildings with L Shaped corners and run towards the L. OBS cant reach those areas and even if you are not close enough, the damage is minimum 5. Standing right under objective locations seemed to work for me too. It may or may not work for you 6. Obviously anything that has a roof over your head is good too 7. Most OBS will be called behind you if the person calling the OBS is knowing what he is doing. If you hear a loud siren close you, your best bet is to run forward.
Enjoy!
8. If you see more than 4 blue dots in the same location bunched together, stay away from them. The more the blue dots the more the chances of the OBS hitting you. 9. Dont forget to spread out. This way less friendlies will get killed. |

I bet you'd lose a fight with an aeon. Archons are only emanations of the demiurge, which itself is an imperfect being. An aeon however is an emanation directly from the one. Which archon are you creature?! Ialdabaoth? Iao? Sabaoth? Adonaios? Elaios? Astaphanos? or Horaios? I DEMAND ANSWERS! |

Escaped it twice using this technique. It takes 3 seconds from the time time you hear the siren till you start getting hit. The hits are 3 seconds inward to outward. This means it gives you 4 - 5 seconds depending on how fast you are at using the map to run away from it. And thats not say you wont get hit. Last night I got hit by an OB under cover where as my squad mate who was under same cover didnt get hit!
Again these are tips and guidelines. Use them if you want or dont! |

Simple version...
1) Do you see the light effect in front of you? If so, turn around and run away. 2) Do you not see the light effect in front of you? Run straight ahead until the first couple of "WHUMP" sounds finish. If you are still alive, you're out of the area. If not, you didn't run fast enough.
Q1: But what if it's not anywhere near me? A1: Grats! You're still alive! Suck it up, Soldier! It's better than wasting time with the map!
Q2: What do I do if I'm in a heavy? A2: You die. |

Call down a free LAV and crash it into the red dots farming or the bludots farming and the OB/PS spam stops. Thats the best way to avoid the spam. Plus it makes useless beta testers with a W rage a lot at not being able to farm.

Yep. No fancy technique needed. If you hear it's close to you, just run away. |

i actually feel like... in the time it takes to open your map, verify if the strike is near you or not, and close the map again... the strike will have killed you already? |

Yes, given the load time for opening your map you'd probably be dead by the time you saw where the strike is directed. |
