I posted a few weeks back and the response was terrific. That said, whether I choose to reply to a post or not depends entirely upon how someone poses their question or statement. If it's full of whining, text speak or is completely self indulgent then I try not to reply (though I did just reply to one of those threads). If questions are genuine and statements are well thought out and there has been at least a small effort towards grammar and spelling then I will gladly try and offer as much assistance as possible (not in DUST514 as I am terrible at this game, but in EvE I try). It's a shame that people judge themselves on the in-game stats which often provokes the 'Elitist' mode of "I'm so good I can talk to people any way I choose". What these people fail to realise that at some point fairly soon, there will be someone better than them AND they will be more intelligent and will generally have a better sense of community...... and at that point, well, their (gaming) friends start to disappear. I am saying the same as you... for example I may seem to you like one of those complainers, but I am not complaining about anything apart from things that can damage my ps3, I love eve universe and dust, I would really like to love it more, but the priority for ccp should be the smoothness of the gameplay and good framerate so we do not have to worry about our ps3 to be broken but its actually worse in this build then it was, then like I said in different post, NEXT should be the game mechanics which can be easily repaired and about this I am not complaining at all.. no.. I usually only complain when they make it "normal." I just hope that now they've laid down the ground work they can start to add imteresting stuff. Personally I would like to drive around in a green mushroom with pink and purple polka dots. Of course it would have to be heavily armed.

To be fair, there was quite a few occasions where I missed targets (moving towards or directly away from) with multiple shots of a shotgun. And no, I wasn't aiming elsewhere. The terribad target hit detection and lag made that 'dancing' crazily effective (in addition to being something that only a prancing fairy out of a fantasy world could do. Real people just can't do that). Also, I mostly used scout suits myself.

Get good scrub ! No just kidding I was inclined to think that breach AR nerf (or at least modification) was needed. That suit tier having same base HP (or at least not such a massive difference) was needed to. And also that the original strafe speed from 2 builds ago was a bit too fast. For me, precursor had it right in many areas. I still enjoy dust but i share the feeling about individual FPS skill being less and less important. The hit detection improvement itself was enough. Straf speed from precursor should have remained. Then, OB farming behind red line and such stuff are just little things that can be easily corrected.

I think the word that should be used was different, I think TC pretty much hit the nail on the head, the game was supposed to be a different kind of Fps now it's just the same as the rest, the danceing scout was a pain and as an average player it was a challenge but I was getting better only a few very good players caused me much of a problem. Alas ccp have caved in and we end up with this build.

It's not different enough, go play 5 flag wake bf3 it's virtually the same game except a poorer inception of it .

I'm worried about the same thing Sha Kharn. What really heightens my concern is the art direction in EVE atm. Sounds ridiculous I know, but if you look at the design of the new rookie ships in EVE, they have a hideous, bland, modern marketing-think look to them. Whoever designed and whoever approved those designs is in a completely different headspace that the original ship designers of EVE. This new batch would have NEVER have given us a design like the typhoon, the tempest, the rifter, etc. The new designs smack of design by committee, including only elements that everybody can agree on. I know I sound like an idiot to construct such an argument out of rookie ship designs. I'm worried about the same thing Sha Kharn. What really heightens my concern is the art direction in EVE atm. Sounds ridiculous I know, but if you look at the design of the new rookie ships in EVE, they have a hideous, bland, modern marketing-think look to them. Whoever designed and whoever approved those designs is in a completely different headspace that the original ship designers of EVE. This new batch would have NEVER given us a design like the typhoon, the tempest, the rifter, etc. The new designs smack of design by committee, including only elements that everybody can agree on. I know I sound like an idiot to construct such an argument out of rookie ship designs. The only rookie ship they actually changed was the Ibis. The other ones were just adjusted a little to have the V3 shaders applied to them just like all the other assets in the game. I honestly like some of the new ship designs we're seeing now, for instance the new Stabber and Vagabond, which are excellent. On the subject of this thread though, I think the same thing about everyone posting here, going on about how the rest of us are all retards because we aren't making giant posts about how this game is a heap of **** and not worth playing. Given that virtually everything that we've known about this game has changed over the course of our testing, I'm pretty damn sure that enough people being disgruntled about something will result in a change. Just look at how Militia AV weapons now one-shot anything but tanks. Just make more threads in the Feeback board, and try and get your friends on board with them to show support for your ideas. That's what the vehicle whiners did, and it obviously worked for them. You want things to go back to the way they were? Do the same thing they did. And I'm actually on board with some of what you've been saying, even if you came across like a prick with the way you've been stating it. You don't just ***** out when something doesn't go your way. We've got a little over a week before the Dust team comes back to work. Take the time to make sure the Feedback board has a 300 post thread supporting adjustments to movement mechanics and whatever else, and I'm pretty sure you'll see a response.

Well, I've used the old Reaper, and other than making it look less pixelated, they didn't change that much about it. Even the engines and solar panels are in the same places, and only slightly adjusted in shape. I don't know if you've seen the new destroyer for Retribution, but I'd be totally on board with you for that one. Minmatar got **** on with that one. Make sure to go into the Test Server Feedback board and post about it being terrible before its too late.
