I am horrified at the number of people using 750rpm weapons who cannot hit a moving target.

The normalisation of just about everything in dust. A fun vibrant game has become rather dull and slow.
I'm QQing because it was just so much dam fun befor no matter what class you played. Its all just the same now. Roll an AR assult and make sure you see the other guy first..ow and use cover to camp behind or save yourself the hastle and just sit in the redzone and snipe.

Or just farm it up back at base and OB everything that moves with l33t skills.

Game was verymuch my cup of tea but CCP has seen fit to change it and well I dont like it even a little.

Its my problem and I should just HTFU and leave already instead of hanging about wishing for what was or could have been.

Its a beta and yes it could all change but I think I can see the writing on the wall.

Would really really love to be wrong.

Is 'realistic' really the word you are after.

The 'dancing queens' of the last build were ridiculous. Try that on a genuine battlefield and spend the rest of your short life picking up your guts.

I suspect that what you want is the exact opposite of 'realistic'.

Haven't played this build much yet but the QQ is tremendous. I had fun when I was playing it for the few minutes I could yesterday...

Honestly, this game is different. It connects to EVE.

However, maybe it really does suck and I don't know, but I will judge that when I play it.

Done with all this carp also. Will just hang about with a forgegun to ruin other peeps stuff now.

Way back in april me and my fellow compatriots told everybody this game would devolve into a COD clone if CCP slowed the game down and catered towards the campers that sit in one spot and don't move around the map. CCP seriously needs to bring this game more inline with the pace of replication.

What really heightens my concern is the art direction in EVE atm. Sounds ridiculous I know, but if you look at the design of the new rookie ships in EVE, they have a hideous, bland, modern marketing-think look to them. Whoever designed and whoever approved those designs is in a completely different headspace that the original ship designers of EVE. This new batch would have NEVER given us a design like the typhoon, the tempest, the rifter, etc. The new designs smack of design by committee, including only elements that everybody can agree on.

I know I sound like an idiot to construct such an argument out of rookie ship designs. I'm going to quote a far greater man than I about the importance of what the art tells us:

On the subject of this thread though, I think the same thing about everyone posting here, going on about how the rest of us are all retards because we aren't making giant posts about how this game is a heap of **** and not worth playing. Given that virtually everything that we've known about this game has changed over the course of our testing, I'm pretty damn sure that enough people being disgruntled about something will result in a change. Just look at how Militia AV weapons now one-shot anything but tanks. Just make more threads in the Feeback board, and try and get your friends on board with them to show support for your ideas. That's what the vehicle whiners did, and it obviously worked for them.

You want things to go back to the way they were? Do the same thing they did. And I'm actually on board with some of what you've been saying, even if you came across like a prick with the way you've been stating it. You don't just ***** out when something doesn't go your way. We've got a little over a week before the Dust team comes back to work. Take the time to make sure the Feedback board has a 300 post thread supporting adjustments to movement mechanics and whatever else, and I'm pretty sure you'll see a response.
