I find Weapon/Equipment Wheel a bit uncomfortable.
As far as I understand, it works in the following way at the moment: 1) You press and hold R2 and after 0.5-1s the wheel appears 2) You select weapon or equipment with right stick 3.1) You need to release R2 while holding right stick in the right position 3.2) You need to release R2 and right stick simultaneously 4) If you release right stick, your selection is returned to what you have in your hands at this moment
In my opinion it'll more comfortable if selection is preserved after right stick is released. Also, it'll nice to have (in addition to right stick selection) ability to select weapon/equipment by pressing X, O, etc. buttons while holding R2.

they should just bring it back to precursor's wheel. not sure why they changed it |

I noticed that they changed something, as I wasn't able to change to my Nanite Injectro as fast as I did in precursor, however I didn't noticed what they changed exactly (din't played precursor for several weeks).
Did they implemented delay for the wheel to appear? They probably did this to speed up changing weapon/equipment by single pressing R2. Need to test this. |

Whatever they've done has really ****** logis over. I constantly switch between weapon, nanite, hive and repair tool. It used to be a smooth operation, now I've ended up a few times shooting my intended repair target with my mass driver >_< |

I did a lot of logi work last build and used to quickly change between weapons and different kinds of equipment in the middle of a firefight. Using a keyboard and mouse makes this a lot more difficult now. Before you could scroll your mouse wheel and get access to all your gear. It's almost impossible to keep moving while changing gear now. You pretty much have to stop, find a place to hide and then go hunting for logi gear. By the time you get back to the guy who needs to be revived you could have pulled up the map and placed a squad order on the other side of the field, or placed a precision strike. Far too slow for accessing gear that is meant to be used in the middle of a fight. |

I also used a Logi loadout in the last build and found the wheel system was easier to use with a gamepad as you could cycle the selection using rapid R2 button pressing. this has been scrapped/disabled in this build. WHY? it was easier than selecting the wheel, using the right stick then releasing R2. Why make it harder to play?? |

At first I thought they implemented delay after pressing-and-holding R2 in order to make it faster to change equipment by just pressing R2 several times. Playing yesterday I observed that pressing R2 do nothing. Now it doesn't make sense.
I really hope it's just a bug
If someone from CPP can confirm or deny this, we all will really appreciate this. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. Seems quick-press on R2 only switches weapons; if you're holding equipment, you can tap R2 to quickly switch back to the weapon.
I tend to forego having a 2nd weapon, so now tapping R2 is mostly useless for me :( |

Confirmed R2 now only switches to weapons which is really great, but the wheel is really dodgy and not as fluent as it was in the last build which is really annoying. |

Full time logi, both last build and this one. Confirming the wheel feels slightly off, bit of a delay or hesitation between selections. Sometimes I end up turning around or looking at the sky while selecting tools. Last build I could plant a rez and then have reps on him by the time he got on his feet, this build I stumble around in circles for a moment switching tools. |
