This is Krightun (OP)..
( i have to use an alt account/char b.c i glitched my main account char by deleting it and recreating the same name - can't log into forums on the main ) yeah .. so..
I see a lot of people are still having problems with mouse sensitivity. someone said something about the 'max turning speed' yeah i know about that, a while back someone mentioned they'd put ''hard turn limiters'' into Dust so you can't spin around with any gun Really fast.
I'd be playing right now, but i hate using controllers with FPS, and i can't aim with the mouse with the sensitivity in its current state.
I dont think controller sensitivity has any effect on Mouse sensitivity, it shouldn't really. ( whoever said it does / or might )
anyways.. post if you have same issue or if you have info on when this might be fixed.

if there's no response today, should i email Dust support? ( not trying to rush them to fix this but it is an important issue )
a response(here) as to if they're ' working on it ' or something would be great, a relief.. and maybe when there will be a hotfix/quick fix.

I'm pretty sure i had Mouse Smoothing on. It's still crazy fast/inaccurate aiming. |

I have Trust GXT 31 mouse model where you have small button on top of it which change DPI from 100 to 3000 and if you have 100 DPI you can play smoothly with standard settings (60 sensivity, no mouse smoothing). Yes, when you have mouse with high DPI its really bad to play. The playing experience should be the same regardless what kind of mouse you have. Change that CCP to previous settings please.
not everyone has a DPI switch option.
I'm using a standard optical mouse, the sensitivity is set to lowest, and it's still rediculous. other people with nice mice that have a DPI switch still complain of the same problem.
You're lucky if you can switch it to 'playable' but for the rest of us..

Veigar Mordekaiser wrote:Don't know if anyone pointed this out, and I'm to lazy to skim for it - go into accessory settings in the XMB, go to "pointer speed" or "mouse speed" and turn it down. There are 3 speed settings native to the PS3, and they make a pretty large difference. I haven't tried KBM yet this build so I'm not sure if this will fix it for you guys, but it's worth a shot.
I tried changing the pointer option recently, and it didn't do anything for me. thanks for the suggestion though. |

no its not ..its not just that.. it's in all directions, (unless its been fixed today) it's still messed up the sensitivity is too much..
Basically the mouse sensitivity changer thing in the options needs to be fixed, and then adjusted from there.
my preference and what i think is ideal : we need to be able to turn fast enough when someone runs or jumps passed us but also be able to aim accurately at enemys far away.
That's about it. |
