Well, I was almost interested, Salty...but it seems like your clan doesn't have an identity yet. Just an automagic website and a cutsey theme.
When you have requirements, a gameplan, specific roles, as well as squad tactics and practice, I'll check back. As of now it's just a themed body collector.
Edit: When you've made significant investment in the clan, I'll be interested in doing the same. |

Sodium Snake wrote:Like what my comrade kcobra said; we were waiting to recruit until we had a build which would allow us to play together; we don't need K/D requirements or any of that stats garbage, we have a gameplan, roles, and we're working on the squad tactics and practice. The bugs from Precursor have pretty much prevented us from playing together, but once they're fixed, we'll be playing together. And we HAVE been here from the beginning.
EDIT: By the way, what exactly do you mean by 'serious investment'? Just curious, is all.
I understand the wish to wait for a reasonable build and hope for a product closer to the final before recruiting and making plans.
The requirements I was referencing are not KDR, as I play support roles, which means 1/4 times I play my contribution is great, but my score and KDR suffer (Absolutely no teamwork contribution is recognized for combat pilots and ferrying people into objectives). What I was hoping would be inferred, is that the clan have real structure, purpose for the structure, and rules/requirements which support that structure as well as unite the members instead of making another STB body collector where the only thing gained by recruiting another person is the ability to say a large number of people are in your clan.
The bit on serious investment was directed at real, ingame time spent squadding up and practicing tactics (such as setting aside roles for each person on the squad, or implementing those roles in live fire) so that when people see you play, they see 4 people with the same tag, working together in such a way that the rest of the 18 people ingame cannot.
Imagine 4 people destroying the wandering cats that make up the enemy team, capturing objectives, and being self-sustaining (not relying on the rest of the random pubs) in their goals.
"This objective is open from west, sniper migrate west, medic go with assault and I'll give mid-range marksman support while you cap" where the sniper and assault take out spawning enemies while the commanding person (marksman) is repelling incoming ground infantry and the medic is capping.
When you are interested in this kind of structure, that is when teamplay gets fun. Just roaming maps with people you play with while talking on mic isn't a clan...it's just a fancy name for making friends and being pubs together. That's what I'm interested in, and so far this is the only clan that I've seen advertise that I believe HAS that potential. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted in here at all, just ignored it like I do the other kids. |
